Not enough Port and/or Calrton players in there

John Butcher and Liam Jones would fix our forward line woes.

Alipate Carlisle is better than Hurley and cheaper.

Armfield is peaking now, get him before his price skyrockets to a 4th round pick.

There's all our holes filled, with money left over for a big fish.

You have to gamble sometimes

The upside is tremendous potentially

Yeah you do but when we do it and it doesn't go to plan a number people on here go off like a bucket of prawns on a 40 degree summer's day because of their need to bash the club at every turn

Seen it in the last week  :whistle

But ....

Omeara will be cheaper cause of his injury issues

Omeara has not played a game since 2014 . Can hear the howls of discontent already.

If he had played every game what would he cost us ?

Probably Martin and our first rounder.

Current stocks, Id say our first rounder might just about do it if he wants to leave.

Well seing as Edwards & even Lloyd have been deemed untouchable, apparently we're going to get all these blokes just from trading the likes of Conca, Houli & Grigg.....oh and that top 10 compo pick we'll supposedly get for Vickery....

And top 10 definitely means 10th. You don't get the number one pick and call it a top 10!

IMHO it goes something like:

Level 1. -  deledio. Rance. Jack. Cotchin

Level 2. -  martin.

Level 3. -  Edwards. Miles.

Lloyd is expendable a the right price.  Handy footballer but

Every player has a price.

I'd hand over Rance if Sydney offered Hanners and Parker.

Everybody is expendable at the right price, but trusting the list management team to get the right price or make the right call with a draft pick is what makes me so reserved about trading guys like Edwards and Lloyd who are good contributors.

Vickery, B Ellis and Houli have currency and wouldn't be missed IMO. Lloyd and Edwards would definitely be missed.

If trading them out enabled us to bring better players in, I don't see how'd they'd be missed. Even before we bring those players in, we already have Lennon, Rioli & Butler - all forward/mids who can all cover Lloyd & Edwards an arguably all have more upside than Lloyd at least. Short can also cover Lloyd. All bar Lennon are probably even quicker than Edwards & certainly a lot quicker than Lloyd.

I'd trade Edwards because he's a realistic chance to get what he's worth. Lloyd on the other hand wouldn't get us much and don't think we'd get what he's worth but if he was needed as a sweetner then bye bye
