Caught up with a mate from inside the kennel today.

Apparently:-

- Into McBean in a very big way and Richmond open to discussions for a swap for a fringe player or a pick. Bulldogs Coach is big into mobile Fwds who can ruck and believe they can develop him to a genuine quality rotating ruck....which would be quite a feat considering what I've seen between jnrs at Aberfeldie and his time at Richmond, this is not in his natural game. No further details available at this stage.
- Hurley tossing up between two clubs, Bulldogs and another (he wasn't told the other).
- Jong to pies is pretty much done and they are managing him out of the place. No surprises there I guess.

we'll take the pick, other Clubs fringies are the reason we are where we are now

Saints are the other club into Hurley.

I have heard crows as well.

Can you imagine hurley and coke kermit in the same backline for the saints? Add in Hickey/Longer ruck combo and  Membrey, Bruce and Mcartin fwd line - now THAT is a spine to build a side around

Just heard they're also into B.Ellis (:pray), so that would balance things out.......

I'd like to say that's the best news I've heard all day but I heard on SEN this morning that FJ is most likely FO at the end of the year.
Anyone else hear that?

Tom Browne on 7 said that Conca will be definitely looking for a new home

Also said contract talks for all our 20 odd blokes out of contract are effectively "on hold" until season's  end

The stability that most voted for by selecting Peggy Sue.

Might be time to revisit some of those posts not even a year ago

This I like, not only good for positioning ourselves before trade time but also putting
a clear message out to the playing group - perform or we'll move you on.
The possibility of physical and mental collapse is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

from memory all our younger players are signed up so i'd leave it till the end of the year & see what offers are out there.
it gives us maximum flexibilty & gives us the chance to strengthen our Draft position, which is the road i hope we go down
