yep makes sense -  however for him to leave, the offer from the other club will have to be well overs ie to make up the the money he will get in compo . For example - bombers offer 1mill compo plus 5 year deal at 900k p/a, if a bulldogs or saints want him to walk it will have to be 5 years at 1.1 p/a.

he wants around $700k a year plus GC will want a mega return on a trade. given his injury etc no1 will touch him.
