What do you guys think of Jarryd Lyons from the crows?  Out of contract end of the year, solid player to add to our midfield depth.
TBH I'd rather go to the draft (without Betamax).

I actually agree

Here outside of Prestia and a decent young ruckman i would prefer to go to the draft this year

go to the draft with the best recruiter in the business? Im curious or would you like to see him gone.. finally.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Look, if that was the only offer we got I'd do it. Towers is like a taller Edwards. Teases with "elite" qualities but shows his true colours eventually. Has potential on his side though (not young but has only played 20 odd games)

Dopey spud is being kind, he cost them the game a round or 2 after us aswell.

Rather play Balme than him.
The possibility of physical and mental collapse is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

"Am told Richmond have made contact with Billy Hartung's management regarding a long term deal. Contracted at Hawks."

"Hartung could fetch up to $450k per season on a 4 year deal at Tigerland."

"Tigers have also contacted Mitch Honeychurch."

-------------------------

RIC

+ Prestia (from GC), Hartung (from Haw)

- S. Edwards (to GC), Vickery (to Haw)

Also has Lennon linked to Carlton and Port.

-------------------------

"So which prominent player agent was seen touring the site of a major redevelopment at Moorabbin? Ralph Carr. His client? Dustin Martin."

Not saying there's any substance to that but just for shytes & giggles let's play 2 + 2 = 5

Martin was St.Kilda supporter.

Martin loved Choco.

Choco has left.

Becomes a restricted free agent at the end of next year.

Richmond possibly not all that confident of retaining him, particularly if we have another poor year, which is looking likely at this stage (Martin also loves Halfstep who might be sacked) don't want the distraction with speculation over his contract all year and will have more leverage if they get in first and trade him now....

It's simple, if we want to retain him next year we just have to match any offer from another club.
As a restricted he can't just walk, if we have our heads screwed on properly we'll be able to dip into the war chest to match a thing thrown his way.
Losing Dusty would be the least of our worries IMO

Hence why I heavily qualified the post in my opening sentence and don't expect it to be taken all that seriously and neither do I myself....yet...(remember kids, this is mainly a thread for rumours & speculation, not established facts...)

Speaking of which....this also may be something or nothing - they're referring to the the "Superfooty Podcast", whatever that is:

Wouldn't be surprised if the "news" involved Yarran not being here next year....

We must keep Martyn it's that simple. Anyone saying he isn't that important is a .......... well you work it out. Should have already signed him up.
