So, what I know on Tom Rockliff. Wants to stay. But, he wants more $. Asked MGMT to test waters on what other clubs might offer. Hence trade #whispers. Word filtered to players + club he tested waters, now some feel his position as captain is untenable

North deny #whispers of a potential Todd Goldstein trade. What's he worth?

Jarryd Lyons
could be squeezed out of Adelaide - with North Melbourne the front runner for his signature. Melbourne and St Kilda are also believed to be interested.

Jayden Laverde is set to sign a two year deal with Essendon, according to the AFL website's Callum Twomey.

Mark Stevens on Ch 7 news tonight said Collingwood has the highest and longest offer for Daniel Wells. Losing Cloke also frees up salary cap space to have them leading the race for Freo's Chris Mayne

If Rockliff is only being offered $600k/year as reported to stay at Brisbane I would happily offer him $700-750,000/year for 4-5 years to come to RFC. Cops a lot of crap but is clearly a tough and very good player to me.

Especially if we're reportedly offering Prestia $700k for five then Rockliff is definitely worth just as much or more I think.

Goldstein only worth a shot if we can pick up enough talent quickly but we all know it won't turn around fast enough to make him a good option.

Don't know anything about Lyons. Glad we're not after Mayne (overrated!!!) or Wells (old/injury-prone).

Yeah, if we could get:
Goldstein
Prestia
Rockliff
Tomlinson
McKenzie

At the expense of:
Vickery
Conca
Edwards
Lennon
B Ellis
Maric

Chaplin already finished too, adds more cap.

But knowing us we will probably get Prestia, Hartung or Langford, Mitch Honeychurch etc

Either that or just an aggressive list management team who is prepared to use our alleged war chest!

Look at Geelong - Dangerfield, Selwood, Henderson and Smith all in one year. It has transformed their list!

Pass on Hartung. His type (small so-so footballer) is what we already have and why we are now back to being a bottom 6 side.

Neil Balme would be aware of a young gun at Collingwood who is unhappy with Bucks. Unfortunately he is contracted till 2018. His dad left when he played for the pies too.

Would be great if we got into his head. :shh

Sorry Chucky, but that's ridiculous. Carey didn't train anywhere near as well!
