Tom Browne on Ch 7 news just now:

Bulldog Lin Jong most likely off to the Gold Coast despite his mid-season 'visit' to the Pies.

Brisbane's Pearce Hanley also off to the Suns for a first round pick.

Tom Mitchell should nominate Hawthorn as his preferred club to move to. Swans to use the freed up salary cap space on Heeney, Mills and Allir.

Also 3 Giants on the move - Marchbank to the Blues; Hoskin-Elliot to the Pies; and Jack Steele to the Saints.

Would gladly take any of those players mentioned.

Great work Tigers... Just keep biding your time... Until I'm dead...

Don't listen to what is reported by media trying to stimulate interest, its the goings on behind closed doors that matters. Jack for example has said many times he is going nowhere which has been confirmed by club and his manager yet, they still put up articles on the AFL web site saying "clubs circling".....utter crap from media flogs! We can land Fyfe dont worry about that ;)

Trade & FA period dates

When does the 2016 NAB AFL free agency and trade period start and finish?

The NAB AFL Pre-season and Rookie Drafts will be held from 4pm on Monday, November 28.

Pickers on Jay Schulz: We're hopeful of him playing AFL next year.

Damo on Wells: Can I put it to you that it's 2 years from the Roos and 3 from the Pies
Pickers: Yeah that's around the mark. The Cats have got some interest too, there's no doubt about that.

Wallace with some news on a potential recruit for @WestCoastEagles - @CoburgFC ruckman Tom Goodwin in the frame.

Lucas in Sicily: He is very keen to remain at the Hawks. The Suns are going to ask for quality from the Hawks though.

RICHMOND

Draft selections: 6, 42, 60, 78
Unsigned free agents: Ty Vickery (restricted)
Delistings/retirements: Troy Chaplin (ret), Adam Marcon, Liam McBean, Reece McKenzie (ret)

AFL.com.au says:

After missing out on several big-name recruits in recent years, the Tigers convinced Suns midfielder Dion Prestia to nominate Punt Road as his preferred new home.

The Tigers will probably have to send pick No.6 to Gold Coast to get the deal done, but could receive one of the Suns' four second-round picks or a fringe Sun in addition to Prestia.

Richmond made a big play for Geelong speedster Steven Motlop last year and rival clubs suspect they could renew that interest this year, possibly as part of an exchange for star veteran Brett Deledio.

Despite constant denials from club and player, Deledio, 29, could depart as the Tigers seek to refresh their list.

Richmond will also look to bolster its ruck division if veteran Ivan Maric accepts an offer to join Collingwood.

Ruck/forwards

Richmond has been linked to Nathan Vardy and the injury-prone 25-year-old Cat could prove to be a bargain, if he can stay on the park.

Vardy has a ton of talent but has managed just 25 games since his debut in 2011 after a series of knee and hip problems.

It is our approach to consistency, successful clubs use consistency for other reasons, such as winning flags. We are consistently good at picking up garbage, we are in fact #1 in the AFL at it.

Geelong are interested in Carlton's Zach Tuohy, and Steven Motop may be included in a deal with the Blues.

GWS list manager Craig Cameron confirms there could also be a further swap of picks with the Blues in the Marchbank deal.

St Kilda are interested in GWS's Aidan Corr.

Carlton, Essendon, St Kilda, & Melbourne are all interested in WB's Nathan Hrovat.

Fremantle's Matt De Boer has confirmed he'll be leaving Fremantle, saying he's "ready for the next episode."

James Stewart is attracting a lot of interest from Victorian clubs. Essendon are the latest club to join the race for the Giants forward.

Carlton are interested in acquiring GWS player Pat McKenna. McKenna was taken at pick 23 in the 2014 National Draft and is yet to debut.

Gold Coast are showing interest in Western Bulldogs player Lin Jong, who has been offered a 2 year deal from the Dogs.

Lynden Dunn's manager has confirmed Brisbane's interest in the Melbourne defender.
