Anyone who thinks Butler is any chance of making it just watch his performance today. Has shown nothing in any game thus far and with todays wet conditions he should have had a crack as it was a game made for smalls. Massive spud :whistle

Will get suspensed anyway

Think Conca , McBean .Short and Broad might get called up
Castanga and Menadue ??

Menadue was very good IMO as was Townsend. Conca best for us and Short played very well. I thought A. Moore was poor.

Andrew Moore further showed his recruitment was a very stupid decision by our list management gurus

Can't blame Jackson for that one  :snidegrin

Agree
Andrew Moore couldn't play at Port
Why would he play better with us ?
Very one dimension player who is limited
Still haven't worked out where he plays and that's a huge issue
Does anyone actually know ?

How does a club with over 50 million dollar turnover and majority of full time footballers & paid full time staff lose to a stand alone VFL team with a bunch of part time players, coaches and administrators with very limited funds?

The club that keeps giving.

I turned it off after the 3rd but I thought Menadue did well on a day that doesn't really suit his game. He wasn't afraid to get down and dirty.
I hope he carries that confidence into the seniors when he gets his next opportunity.
Also thought Short showed composure in the backline.
Conca was definitely the standout.

McBean showed enough IMO to earn an opportunity.

The game plan is killing this entire club.

bless you McCrae.  :thumbsup

Doing wonders down there.
Pies are travelling well too.

Only a foolish club like ours would bring this dud back.

Easy

They wanted it more.

More desperate, more committed

Result then takes care of itself

The entire RfC could learn something from that approach

Thought Chol was pretty decent today for a tall playing down back, did the basics and did it well.
Switched to the forward line last quarter and low and behold we get our 1st goal for the game.
Once again he did the basics well by playing in front on a wet day and getting the free.
Would be more than happy to give him a run in the 1st's instead of Chaplin or Vickery.
The possibility of physical and mental collapse is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Damien Hardwick chats to Richmond’s VFL side after goalless first three quarters against Coburg

Herald-Sun
5 June 2016

IT’S been a tough weekend for Damien Hardwick. And during the club’s VFL clash on Sunday, he chose to do something about it. WATCH.

After watching his Richmond side lose to North Melbourne by 70 points on Friday night, the club’s VFL team didn’t fare much better just a few days later.

Held goalless for the first three quarters in Sunday’s clash with Coburg, Hardwick opted to go to the three-quarter time huddle and have a few stern words with the players at the final change.

Hardwick chatted with the side’s midfield group, giving them some tips ahead of the last term.

And it worked.

The Tigers piled on their first three goals of the match in the last quarter, cutting the final deficit to just 33 points.

Richmond’s VFL side has endured a tough start to the season and has won just two of its first eight matches.

That's says more about our entire club though doesn't it?

It's goes to show that off field stability, although important, isn't worth much if you employ people that can't perform the role your paying them for. Also if there is no real accountability then those same people can get away with sitting on their hands but still receive the backslaps just for turning up so everyone can all sleep well each night.
The club that keeps giving.

I was really looking forward to watching Butler but was very disappointed today. Hopefully, just an off day
