With half a season set in stone, let’s take a retrospective look at what have turned out to become the best value pick up’s from the 2016 trade window.
The criteria is based on how well the player has performed thus far, relative to what the club gave up to land him.
Toby Nankervis: Traded from Sydney to Richmond for Pick 46
The former Swan was starved for opportunity until the Tigers came knocking with pick 46 for the 199cm big man.
Nankervis has provided plenty of value for Richmond, becoming the number one tall at Tiger Land.
Averaging 26 hit-outs across 10 games, 16 disposals including nine contested per game ‘Nank-the-Tank’ has been a pivotal part of his club’s success so far this season and will prove to be a key component to the Tigers’ line-up as the season progresses.
