So far it's Prestia, Caddy & Nankervis in, McBean, Deledio, Chaplin, McKenzie & rookie listed Marcon out

So that's one free spot on the senior list  - if we delist A.Moore, Batchelor, Lambert & Butler.....we'll have 5....will probably upgrade Short ....so that's four....we should take at least three picks in the ND.....which leaves us one spot for a DFA....alternatively we could only take two picks & upgrade Short....or we could go with a 40/4 list and only take rookie (as I'd imagine Castagna, Chol & C,Moore are safe ) ...so I guess we could get as many as three DFA's if we only used three picks in the ND including Short and went with a 40/4 list ? Feel free to correct me.

EDIT: Forgot about Soldo - is he still a seperate category B rookie this year?

That spot Maric is wasting is going to make it hard come draft/DFA time. Stupid decision

I believe that the football dept. was painted into a corner because of the massive money we have committed to Hardwicks contract.

If we get a ruck coach at $150k it is tagged onto our coaching dept. spend and we will be taxed via the AFL coaching dept. equalisation plan.

By resigning Maric he can be a minimal playing ruck coach and save us $ that we don't have.

THANKS DAN >:( >:( >:(

Yeah he really fills a need....what with only Short, Lloyd, Rioli, Castagna, Edwards and even Lambert if he survives able to play that role, not to mention the possible drafting of Willie Rioli & Kirby.....pfft who needs KPD's?

Only thing re: Cas is how long he's been on the rookie list. I'm not 100% on either the rules or how long he has been on the list but you can only keep the rookied for I think 3 years, and he'd be close to that no?

Think you have to delist & re-rookie them for a third year or something like that? Darrou got a third year on the rookie list IIRC....
