Baker nominating WCE should make this easier for them to negotiate a deal that suits us.

RFC can tell WCE to pay Graham more to ensure it's P22.

With us paying a large portion of Baker for them

He's not contracted, so we have no obligation/option to pay Baker.

Only Rioli and Bolton, to sweeten the draft picks we get for them.

Yeah true
Makes it hard with manipulation of the Graham compo in that case

I'm 90% sure the clubs can enquire with the AFL what compo the deal will get, then change the deal later and ask again before it's signed.

This can be used to sweeten the Graham compo if they refuse to hand over 13 for Baker, but I hope they do that anyway.

Richmond unrestricted free agent Jack Graham will return from his trip to Western Australia where he toured West Coast's facilities but is yet to make an official call on his future.

Graham is still expected to head to the Eagles on a four-year deal but is likely to make a formal decision on his future next week. Richmond does not have the option to match a free agency offer for him but would receive a compensation selection for him.

All this time and he hasn't signed yet on the dotted line don't even want him back. Smells like the same scenario again against Port.
