Probably a hard night to judge given the team's "effort". What did we all think of Paddy's debut?

20 disposals (15k, 5h, 3c, 17u, 60% eff.)
5 marks
2 tackles
5 inside F50s
1 rebound D50
4 clangers
1 goal
74% time on ground.

Played well except for a few over the shoulder blind kicks. Happy with his game overall.

Probably gave us about the same, if not more, than Brando would’ve tonight.

Once he fills the frame out a bit I think he will be a great wing / half forward.

Yeah, I heard that on the radio.

Pretty impressive on debut.

 He was good

Made a couple of bad blues but I out that down to the tempo of AFL to VFL

He needs to add a lot of bulk. Get some size on him and he will be a good player long term

And to think there were some who recently claimed he would not make it before he'd even played a game :shh

For a first game in pox circumstances, he went great.  Love that long kick, he is gonna be a great asset.  All the young ones have been having a real crack, so many debutants this year, some of em really look good.  peeed off as I was, it is still looking good for the future as long as we can stop the poo injury run.

I won’t lie, I think he was ok.

I’ll go back and watch it again but there wasn’t anything he did where I thought “this kid has something” (like with Stack or Balta in the first 5 minutes)
He did some nice things you would expect a kid who was good enough to get drafted, but that was it IMO.

Is he just another Menadue??

He'll  be better than Menadue I think - though that's not really saying much, but he looks like he at least knows how to find the ball and stay involved in the game.....Turner will be considerably better than both. :shh

Foxsports has Naish as a "big ball-winner" (at VFL level) that has struggled for consistent stints in their respective AFL sides this season and could be attractive propositions for rival clubs.

Patrick Naish (Richmond)

Naish has been on Richmond’s list for the past four seasons but only managed nine games, including six this season. He’s been prolific and versatile in the VFL, booting five goals and averaging 27.6 disposals and 7.2 marks from his five games in 2021. The father-son prospect wants to remain at the Tigers. Whether he can get more opportunities at AFL level at the Tigers, if offered another contract, remains to be seen, for Richmond is still well placed to have another flag tilt with its best line-up.
