Only Port and Essendon have really gone for any players and they are players to strengthen weak spots on their lists and that's why they didn't have to fight anyone for them and why they have gone cheap.

This is a lame trade period. Looks like most teams are backing their own lists in and will hit the draft for next season.

The Crows have sent Wigg, pick No.54 and a future fourth-round selection to the Suns in exchange for pick No.39.

If Carlton get pick 10 AND a first rounder next year in a very deep draft for an over-the-hill 29 next year Gibbs, Im going to stuffing spew. Apparently the deal didnt get done cause they wanted MORE!?

Lids might not be 2ce the player Gibbs is, but hes a bonafied match-winner.
