I know it is VERY unlikely, but I wouldn't mind a tilt at J Kennedy from WCE. Although he'll be 30, he has been injury free and has at least 3 good years left in him. Coleman medalist....
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

I'm suss on Trengrove.

Reckon he'd become a whipping boy with his disposal.

reading Zacharakis's comments, I reckon he'd ripe for the picking under free agency

Correct, he'll get a lot of inquiry too, watch the Hawks swoop.

Anyone know what our cap situation is going forward? We're paying some of Lids contract this year but that should all be cleared by next, however I know we offered big coin not just to Prestia but also to Caddy & we might end up paying a mil per season for Dusty (which is fine in my book).

I know it is VERY unlikely, but I wouldn't mind a tilt at J Kennedy from WCE. Although he'll be 30, he has been injury free and has at least 3 good years left in him. Coleman medalist....
Would think it depends on our performance this year. We need to be closing in on a tilt by the end of this year to make something like that feasible surely? I know we're desperately weak up forward at the moment, but I can think of others I'd prefer.

Apparently Jay Clark just said on Triple M that we are heavily into Josh Schache.

Would be incredible but can't see us getting him to Tigerland AND holding onto Dusty.

We're still eyeing off Kelly and/or Hopper from GWS too apparently. Doubt we'll get the former - will most likely stay but if he does leave it will probably be for North , who his old man played for -would cost two first rounders and a huge salary anyway, the latter very gettable though. Would go extra hard for Kelly though if he hasn't re-signed and we lost Martin...

Couple of young fringe players I wouldn't mind looking at if we could get them on the cheap - Wigg from Adelaide and Crocker from Collingwood. Former is a sublime kick and the latter's been likened to Martin by some, which is probably a tad hyperbolic - I see him more as potentially a better version of Caddy.

Schache would be perfect for us and i hope we pursue this and make him a tiger next year.
