McKay re-signed with Carlton a month ago and I highly doubt they'd trade out a kid with his potential in the midst of a rebuild, especially a 200cm kpf who can also play in the ruck.

With May re-signing with the Suns, Vic clubs are now lining up to poach Lever from the Crows. Hutchy reckons the Dogs have offered Lever $4.5m over 4 years.

Its looking that way.

I would go for Kelly but I also get the feeling that deal is done and he is going to north or even blues.

Our track record of poaching stars doesn't feel me with great excitement

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

By the way it still is the norm very few blokes at 200cm have gone on to become top KPF'S but hey you keep kidding yourself it aint true.

Why do you think Dusty is leaving?
It's was the same process last time, I'm not sure there will be any reason for Dusty or his manager to try something different this time.
Equally, providing we play and win a final (or 2) the odds of him resigning will shorten. If a club offers a Hail Mary deal and he takes it (who would do that?) then we get better compensation anyway
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Put yourself in Dustys situation - even if you are set on staying bc you love the place, why would you sign now when you are one of the favourites for the brownlow? Sure dont hold the club to ransom but if you can eek out an extra 5-700k over 5 years why wouldnt you?

Im sure he'll stay its just good business from his end, wy begrudge him what 99% of us would do in the same position?
