Here's a tip

Stick to the topic rather than preaching and applying site rules to suit a purpose/ argument

I do feel protective of Jack because he's an easy target and also Batch due to his injuries. You obviously don't rate these players in the same way that I do - no problem here.

Now, how the hell did you come to the conclusion I don't rate Jack? Do you actually read what I write or do you take a comment and amplify it so as to cover all aspects of that player? Just because I said he used to dummy spit a bit more than I, his team mates and his coaches may want, doesn't mean I don't think he is a fantastic footballer! He is in our top 3 or 4 at the club!

As for Batch, I have said many times here, he tries hard but is limited. He has only one side and isn't blessed with pace. I wish him all the best but he has had 6 years to show us something and only in one year would you call his output "ok". I hope he stars for us but I don't think he will. His past performances don't indicate he will. I am happy to sit back and have him prove me wrong.

My conclusion is that you don't rate Jack in the same way that I do. I see him as an elite player - on and off field and that at the very least he should be in the leadership group but most probably our captain.
You see his on field body language as "acceptable", I see it as exemplary.
That's the difference. Not sure how you can't see that or why it's making you so emotional
Lol. How do you know I don't even think he's better than you think he is at all other facets of the game? Are you some sort of mind reader?

Can you stop baiting me? That's against forum rules.
The topic of this thread is basically Jack and the emotions he shows on field. You just should have stopped when you said you believe his behaviour in this area is exemplary and that I believe it is acceptable. There is the difference. There was no need to say that I don't rate him OVERALL, bring Batchelor into the conversation or tell me that I get my opinions form the Herald Sun and SEN. If you can't see that it is you that has forced this conversation side ways and not sticking to the topic, well I can't help you. The mods aren't playing favourites, they just read what people post. If you are unable to see your folly then nobody can help you.

Read my post AGAIN.  Not once have I mentioned that you don't rate Jack.

Here's another tip

The bit about preaching site rules to suit a purpose/ argument wasn't directed solely at you to suggest it was is in incorrect. It was directed at everyone.

Because in the last few days this preaching rules to justify personal insults towards other posters has gone overboard.  It's not just in this thread, have a look around it is many threads.

Im gunna put me hand up and say okay It has improved a lot over the last few yrs. The lasting impression though is of a sook.
He is a great player but his actions body language does my head in.You want your leaders to lead from the front thru performance happy to go along with everyone  he ticks that box in that area.
Its an olive branch to all on this subject,  its the only branch that will be offered. :snidegrin
