AFL Fixture 2018 - Friday night prime time slots: Richmond to shine bright, Hawthorn snubbedOctober 31, 2017 12:43pm

FOX SPORTSRICHMOND’S fairytale finish to the 2017 AFL season has been rewarded via the league’s fixture for 2018, with the Tigers to have more prime time than any AFL club.
The Tigers have been given the highest number of prime time games for the 2018 season, scheduled in for five Friday night games and three Thursday night clashes.
Add to that the now traditional Anzac Eve clash against Melbourne and Richmond will be receiving ample ley airtime next year.
It’s a dramatic climb for the Tigers, who didn’t feature in a single Friday night game in 2017 — until they made the finals.
Richmond will also host a rare Thursday night game in Melbourne against Sydney at Etihad Stadium — the club’s only home game at Etihad for the year.
