Selfish? Or players who want the responsibility to convert.
I sometimes wonder if our players hide behind that "unselfish"  rhetoric
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

How funny was that? Grouse to see a kid speak naturally and not speak like a robot.

Yeah, it was pretty good.

I laughed out loud at the end where he told the interview panel to look after themselves.

What a breath of fresh air not hearing a bunch of scripted answers.

After watching the highlights reel the AFL produced of the game and the lack of highlights therein, they should have just showed this interview.

Ditching year 12 pays off for Richmond Tigers cult hero Jack Higgins

The West Australian
Wednesday, 25 April 2018

Richmond youngster Jack Higgins has already become a cult figure, just two games into his career. Here's why.

When it comes to interviews, Jack Higgins is still a little rough around the edges.

But most footy fans will be hoping that’s exactly the way he stays.

The Richmond goalsneak has surged to cult hero status despite having played only two games, with his footy skills and on-field exuberance doing the talking.

Higgins booted three goals in just his second game last night, emerging as a key figure in the win over Melbourne at the MCG.

Speaking to Seven post-game, the 19-year-old spoke about his decision to give away the final year of his studies to focus on bettering his chances of being picked up in the AFL Draft.

“I wasn’t doing that well at school, as you can probably see,” Higgins said.

“It wasn’t worth me going through year 12.

“I’m happy with my decision and I wouldn’t change it for the world.”

Higgins had the Seven calling team in stitches with some of his answers, coupled with an already trademark smile and candour.

“My year 11 marks weren’t too flash,” he said.

“I was mainly getting Fs... too busy on the iPad and YouTube and stuff like that.

“So I made the right decision.”

Apparently had a lot of sessions with Bohdan Babijczuk.

How does one arrange this? Is it free or does it cost money? If so are his parents rich?

Does he sound like his parents are rich?

Does he sound like his parents are rich?

Then How does one afford to have private sessions with Babijczuk?
