Richmond would’ve been crazy not to look at Lynch, says Ryan O’Keefe

Former Sydney Swans star Ryan O’Keefe’s says “99 per cent” of Richmond would be happy with Tom Lynch’s big-money offer.

Speaking on Halftime with James Willis, the two-time Premiership player and 2012 Norm Smith Medalist believed it could be similar to when former teammate Lance Franklin moved from Hawthorn to Sydney in 2014.

“Even if you win the premiership and rest on your laurels, teams will overtake you,” he said.

“If a player of Tom Lynch’s ilk is available, it should help you team and get some more success and you’d be crazy not to look at it.

“The other thing is other players may get their noses out of joint (about Tom Lynch coming in on big money).”

Yep hard to believe he was their captain. Has clearly not received the level of support he should have. Not surprising when Gary Ablett is your leader
