Will get and should get 4 weeks for that.
Honestly, should just retire if he is going to carry on like that.  Ridiculous

Stupid and selfish Lynchy.

Been reported as well.

Just tuned in.

What's the deal? Is he being manhandled etc as usual and finally snapping?
No excusea when Lynch off the ball cost the team possession. He hasn't touched the ball, he's dropped a mark he should take, he's given away 5 frees out of our 8, and he's -15 (that's minus) in terms of fantasy points. Just selfish from a senior player. And now he is going to cost a young team a big bodied key forward which puts all the pressure in the upcoming weeks he is out on first year cubs Faull and Sims (who will have to come in).

Oh well at least we have a mature body in Lefau who can have a go.

Oh wait a moment.

It's almost like he just wanted a contract extension first

I don’t care about the act specifically it’s his complete lack of leadership and poise that poos me.

You're right about the open hand, saw that in the replay.

Surely will be considered deliberate, high contact, low impact given absolutely no injury or damage done.

What does that equate to? Bet the AFL takes a 'strong stance' on swiping at other player's heads and gives him 3-4.

Goose action and needs a couple of weeks to think his stuff through IMO.

As much as lynch should not have done it, he needs more support and maybe a free kick or two paid his way. If U watch the down field camera, he is continuously niggled and knocked about by the crows players. I'm not surprised he snapped. That being said, Yze shoulda pulled him aside much earlier as we could all see lynch starting to unwind.

Intentional, high contact & low impact = 1 week.

There’s a few more people who need the blame for this before the coach cops it. The first is Tom, the next are the umpires who consistently ignore the grabbing and blocks yet pay them the other way frequently. I’d lose my poo too.

This is exactly why we need another dude like Lefau or Balta up forward to play rough.

And exactly why we need Lynch next year.

Shame about Lefau.

We really have no choice but to play Balta forward now, and the likes of Young or Blight down back with Miller + Trainor.

Heck maybe Young could go forward? Jagged two in the VFL pasting of the bullants.

Was our best effort all day.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Mitch Cleary on 7news saying Lynch looking at 3-4 weeks.

Intentional
High contact
High impact (potential to do harm)

Jon Ralph has just likened it to Bazza on Staker.

Only difference one was a fist at full strength and the other a wild open hand that barely connected.

Handy
