This is not correct WP.
Lynch has come out personally and said it was not a collision injury.
Said he had a hot spot from incorrect loading ( change of gait ) due to his plantar fasciitis injuring and he actually heard the bone crack whilst running. Think the interview was a podcast with Dylan Buckley.

Spot on.

Only talks about his rehab though and at that stage not coming back until after the bye. No mention of what caused his broken foot.

Yeah, I watched that, but no mention of how it happened. That's different from Dylan's podcast, which Lynch doesn't appear to have been on. I dunno, if Lynch had come out and basically potted the S & C department, it would be a bigger story and we'd know about it.

I’ll try and hunt down where I saw it but remember it clear as day.
Lynch didn’t pot anyone.
Just explained how it happened. Had a hot spot and tried to play through it.
Not a collision injury

Tiger Tom Lynch is putting his frustrating stint on the sidelines to good use. The superstar forward with big plans already for 2024.

THE KING OF THE JUNGLE: DWAYNE RUSSELL PREDICTS 2024’S TOP 10 KEY FORWARDS

BY SEN
28 July 2023

SEN’s Dwayne Russell has looked into his crystal ball to try and predict who will be the ‘King of the Jungle’ as the AFL’s best key forward in 2024.

Russell named the 10 players he thinks have the best chance of being the best of the best, with several young players named that he feels will have breakout 2024 campaigns.

1 - Charlie Curnow (Carlton)
2 - Jeremy Cameron (Geelong)
3 - Jamarra Ugle-Hagan (Western Bulldogs)
4 - Mitch Lewis (Hawthorn)
5 - Oscar Allen (West Coast)

6 - Tom Lynch (Richmond)

“Number six is Tom Lynch. I think he's got a big season or two left if he gets his body right.

“Tom Lynch is still one of those that could emerge in 2024 as the player that we knew him as a premiership key forward for Richmond, especially now that we know Jack Riewoldt’s probably retiring at the end of the year.

“He's going to have the forward line to himself.”

7 - Max King (St Kilda)
8 - Todd Marshall (Port Adelaide)
9 - Logan McDonald (Sydney)
10 - Jacob Van Rooyen (Melbourne)

At Jack's presser on Tuesday, Lynch was still wearing a moonboot.

Meehan should be ashamed of himself.

He should actually resign over that.
Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.
