Like everyone I love Nank. However, he is getting toasted in the hitouts. Gawn destroyed him last night and next week he has Grundy to contend with. Gawn's delivery to Melbourne's mids last night was amazing but became ineffective because they have no speed on the outside. The Pies do have speed on the outside so to me this poses a big concern for next week....

Gawn is the best ruckman in the game and we still beat them in clearances.

Sitting up in the nosebleeds I thought we looked a bit unpolished for the most part but then cranked it on in the 4th. Toby was struggling to match Gawn but that's to be expected for a young and developing ruckman. He could really use a chop out next week against Grundy who I think is the best ruckman going around at the moment.

The song  :banghead :banghead

Barber quartet version fits in at a Dees game  :whistle  :chuck

And that's a really poor crowd

thought the song was fine personally

Really not telling the difference while we are all singing it (probably terribly) but hey wtf .....

Nearly all of Melbourne's goals came from some rushed kick into the forward 50.

They were terrible and I couldn't believe they were still in the game at the start of the 4th.

And you may not think I care for you

All clear from the MRP except for Edwards copping a fine.

MRP Charges Laid:

Shane Edwards, Richmond, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Neville Jetta, Melbourne, during the second quarter of the Round Five match between Richmond and Melbourne, played at the MCG on Saturday April 21, 2018.

In summary, he can accept a $2000 sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the Melbourne Football Club, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with low impact to the head. The incident was classified as a $3000 sanction. The player can accept a $2000 sanction without appearing before the Tribunal.

Haha apparently Melbourne supporters have been calling into SEN and saying that they shouldn't have traded Watts....

Hitouts are over rated. Nank holds his own around the ground against most if not all ruckmen. Big challenge against the best big man in the comp this week

We should be fairly confident that at least Nankervis will remember to pick up Grundy and also won't run past the ball if there's a contest in front of goal in Collingwood's forward 50 with us less than a kick in front at the death...   :shh

Well deserved recognition for George's game.

Liked Georgia's year so far. Everything improved where it needed to
