Richmond has been inaccurate in front of goal this quarter scoring 1.5, they have missed all their scoring shots from between 40-50 metres.

Daniel Rioli has had a strong first quarter in his first match of the year with five disposals, three contested possessions, three tackles and two inside 50s.

There was some Benny Hill stuff happening in our D50 which was frustrating. Hopefully we can bounce back.

Ellis intercepts the Geelong clearing kick 52 out. Chips it to the hot spot and fortunately Nank got the goal.

Rich 2.5-17
Geel 4.2-26

Too much handball on a day like today.

Sheds to Lambert and he is out. Gets it to Caddy and we get 50 for encroachment. 35 out. Goal!  :gotigers

Rich  3.5-23
Geel  4.2-26

Free to Conca in the centre. To Garth. A 60m kick. Caddy by hand to Higgins to Lambert but the snap is marked by Geelong on the line. And they clear.

Grigg to Floss to Dusty to Georgie to Lambert hands to Jack to Caddy but Geelong hold us up at HF. Stoppage. Selwood's kick is OOTF. Sheds to 30 out. Jack should get the free but doesn't  ::). Point.

24 - 26

What's the point of 4 umpires when they miss obvious ones like that?  ::)  :banghead

Richmond has 13 more effective disposals than Geelong for the match so far. Kane Lambert (7) and Daniel Rioli (6) have been the most prominent on the ground.

Inside 50s this qtr: 11 - 5

Need to score from them though.

Grigg free. Goes to 15 out and it clears the pack and Georgie marks behind. Just gets it in :phew :gotigers.

In front!

Rich  4.6-30
Geel  4.3-27
