I'd hate to watch him play against us, so keep thanks ...     :cheers
Has potential to be Bont-like, will take time but has that sort of talent.

What is the news on RCD, staying ? Going?

I think he has shown some good things, would like to keep, I think he has a big upside.

Thoughts??

I think his tank needs work.

He's the kind of player you'd have subbed off a few years ago. Runs flat in the 3rd

And yet we seem to be trading for Narkle this upcoming trade period  whose tank is poorer than RCD"s go figure?

RCD's stats today:

19 disposals (10k, 9h, 8c, 11u, 73.7% eff.)
3 marks
1 tackle
5 clearances (4 centre clearances)
3 inside 50s
256m gained.
1 intercept
2 score involvements
64% time on ground.

19 disposals playing just two thirds of the game is decent. His best return in his short career so far.

Good early. Tired late. Has ‘it’, but needs a few pre-seasons to get body right and enable consistency

When I see new players I like to see a glimpse of some non negotiable traits

- a footy brain (footy basics as a minimum)
- not a scaredy-cat (ie. not soft)
- poise with ball in hand (ie. doesn't panic under pressure)
- skill by foot

I’m not convinced RCD ticks many of these - if any maybe the first one
The club that keeps giving.

Was good considering there wasn’t a lot of experience in the midfield to back him up
