Could not see us getting a pick better than 60 odd for him to be honest. Surprised anyone would trade for him given we never play him.

Will be lucky to get a half eaten packet of twisties sadly

That’s our fault for not playing him more often

Few clubs are interested.

Reckon if he's not part of the Hopper/Tarranto trades then you're looking at a late 2nd rounder

Late 2nd???
WOW 😮
Take that and RUN

According to some, having gay parents means he doesn’t respect males in positions of authority. Seems to make sense. ::)
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Yeah I posted it and I stand by it. I said it was a possibility not a fact so don’t misconstrue it.

That’s why I say “according to some” - implies an opinion.

Garry Lyon also threw up former Tiger Riley Collier-Dawkins as one who deserves another chance.

After being drafted in 2018, Collier-Dawkins took more than two years to break into the Tigers' side before playing nine games in 2021.

But the midfielder managed just two appearances in 2022, and the writing was on the wall when Richmond recruited Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper in the trade period.

“Riley Collier-Dawkins is a player that I’ve liked and did like when he’s in his VFL time,” Lyon added.

“They flirted with him in the middle of the ground and played him and they would say they gave him an opportunity, we know how deep they are with Taranto and Hopper coming into the side.

“I think he would be someone who might be worth at least a pre-season to see if he can slot in or not.”

Riley Collier-Dawkins (Richmond)

Collier-Dawkins was taken with pick No.20 in the 2018 draft, but simply couldn’t get regular game time at senior level, with just two games in 2022 after nine in 2021. He’s a tall midfielder and at 22 years of age could take some time to fill out and hit his full potential. He has attracted some interest from rival clubs. It’s hard to know whether that interest will result in a list spot given we’ve seen so little from him in a side whose midfield depth wasn’t that great prior to bringing in Jacob Hopper and Tim Taranto.

Delisted free agency has begun today, with footballers around the country hoping to learn if they'll be given a second chance in the AFL. After being dumped from the Tigers, Riley Collier-Dawkins is determined to prove his knockers wrong.

Probably his dismissive nature toward heterosexual men who coach the team  ::)

I actually think he'll get picked up.

Shame we didn't play him more and persist. Beautiful kicking action. Feel like he'd have made a good medium half forward like Caddy.

DELISTED TIGER HAS RENEWED HOPE FOR AFL LIFELINE AFTER PRELIMINARY INTEREST

By Seb Mottram
SEN
4 November 2022

Riley Collier-Dawkins remains a chance to find a new AFL home, with the delisted Richmond midfielder receiving interest from a “fair few clubs”.

The former first-round pick barely got going in his four years at the Tigers, managing 11 games and just two in 2022.

With the club’s acquisition of ex-GWS duo Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper, there was no room for the 22-year-old on Richmond’s list when he was among four delistings.

But speaking to 7 News, Collier-Dawkins says he’s packed on several kilograms and is keen to continue his AFL journey.

“I’ve got a desire to play at the best level and see how good I can be, I’m taking every measure and every day is an opportunity to get better,” he stated.

“I certainly have felt and got some evidence to take out of it (Richmond career) that I can do it and know what it takes to get there… I’ve got a lot of speed and power and I think that’s something in the modern game that separates the good teams from the best teams.”

After being taken with pick 20 in the 2018 National Draft, Collier-Dawkins' best performance in the black and yellow came in Round 23, 2021 when collecting 19 disposals, five clearances, three inside 50s and three marks playing a hard-running role in the midfield.

Collier-Dawkins played nine games that campaign to suggest he wasn’t far away from breaking into the best 22 on a permanent basis.

But 2021 draftee Tyler Sonsie featured in the Tigers’ last seven games of 2022, while Jack Ross was also preferred to Collier-Dawkins as a depth option.

However, Collier-Dawkins is hoping his runs on the board hold him in good stead for a new contract elsewhere.

“There’s preliminary discussions with a fair few clubs which has given me a lot of hope, but until something’s official obviously you never know… I'm just going to be ready no matter what,” he added.
