He's like a son to a lot of people. A son that is exactly the same age as me.
I work in Africa and they were taking the pee out of me for saving Africa.......

I did think that with your vast football knowledge you must have been a Coach sometime in the past.....  :shh
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

I doubt very much that will be the RFC agenda

Thank goodness

There is nothing wrong with putting games into our youngsters or focussing on their development. It will hold us in good stead going forward. We're not going to win the flag in 2019 so try I ng to win it in 2020 or 21 is a better option.

Lollllll the meltdowns are real

Pretty sure we lost games the last two years in similar fashion to teams worse than Collingwood and managed to do pretty well I’d say with a flag and a prelim.

We also covered the loss of jack last year for a few weeks by just bringing in another small and caddy playing as the full forward and now we have lynch.

The loss of rance is the main downer to come from all of this but I don’t see how they takes us from premiership favourites to bottom 4 like some people are making it out to be.

They can learn how to play finals and deal with adversity. Anything else is an absolute cop out. Tell me how dogs hawks, eagles and pies managed to play off in a GF or win one with an injury toll worse than ours

Gibson
Mitchell
Lake
Hodge
Clarkson
Treloar
De Goey
Elliot
Nik Nat
Gaff
Bob Murphy
Libba
McRae
Wallis

All players who missed large chunks of their teams foray into the GF

Hawks 2015 and Dogs 2016 were massive efforts if you asked me

It can be done if we are strong enough mentally. I personally think Hardwick went on about rance too long last week and should have shut it down after the game and moved on.

If we can't at least finish in the top 6 then IMO our list is simply not good enough as other clubs have proven it can be done

If we don't make finals don't blame injuries that's still my focus anything less is failure. As people pointed out teams coped well with alot more injuries so cut out this crap educational year.

People underestimate the importance of Rance. Rance made Astbury and Grimes better players by just being in the side with them. People will soon understand how great a defender Rance is because his teammates in defence will be exposed to better players in opposition teams who will take advantage. The loss of Riewoldt for 4 to 6 is also a major setback. Dustin Martin hasnt fired a shot yet in 2019 and our smalls are not employing the pressure of the past. I think playing some kids would be good for the team.

So we are a one man team then ramps? If so we might as well start again

The onus is on the whole club to lift in his absence like every other club had to do.

Ramps is wrong. Yes, Rance made Astbury better....to an extent. Not Grimes though. The back 6 has been a great unit with Rance the star of it. But it was an effort by all 6 to allow Rance to be what he was.

I reckon the heat needs to be more a bit on the coaching I have seen nothing to suggest we have tuned our gameplan or improved it without Lynch or with him.Seems like we a set in 2017 and not moving on it.

Agree! Sticking with 2017 structure and teams have caught on!
