If and when Daniel leaves, does Maurice switch to the #17 guernsey next year?

If Daniel and Shai leave, MRJ surely won’t be long for the RFC

Wouldn't think so MRJ was honoured that Sheeda handed him his number 10.

MRJ has just signed a 2 year deal Damo. I'm not worried about MRJ.

You'd assume MRJ would have been aware of his nephew's plans for most of the year and he still re-sigend

Personally I see that as a positive

MRJ won't attract the sort of interest that D has unless he becomes a better player.

Don't think any other club would be overly interested at the moment.

4 yrs in 36 games 22yr old. Unless he becomes a better player. That is fast becoming the $100.00 question. Will he become a better player and if so will he improve enough. He definately has not done enough to be considered AFL quality to this point.
He does a few nice things each game and supporters salivate forgetting all the shizen things that also happen.

Why two years he has hardly done enough to be retained on the list. Imo it was his last chance to actually take the leap next yr. Failing that he was delist material.

Another if he has another  shizen season who will be safe because of dumb contracts.
The Rioli name sure has served this bloke well.

Thought he was solid this year until injured.

More impact and great pressure in an otherwise loose and lazy forward line.

No coincidence our pressure drops right off whenever he's not there...same thing happened last year when according to many, he was apparently shytehouse, not even VFL standard and should've been delisted ... :shh

Lol our team pressure is not there weather he plays or not.

More to the game than just applying pressure and that is where he has to improve.
So your happy to keep a bloke who gives nothing but pressure acts.

Maybe like Daniel he has to be moved away from the fwd half..Not that he was not tried at times thru the middle.

The stats in his case do not lie and boy are they ordinary apart from the odd game here or there.

I think my biggest gripe is just how often he is not clean and fumbles or kicks horribly.

As i said have not said delist but imo the clock is well and truly ticking and after 4 years and 36 mostly gifted games its time to put up or go.

He played imo just two games this year that were reasonably well rounded and at the level. but hey like usual those miserly two games has everyone thinking he has made it.
