Also Curtis getting 1 game for an open hand / punch to players throat/head while they gave lynch 4 weeks? Crystal clear consistency by the mro as usual.

But more to the Lynch one than the Curtis one
Curtis 1-2 probably right ?

As for Stewart , he did nothing wrong

Those sooking he got off are dreaming .. so an AFL player can no longer jump in the air anticipating a smother etc

Curtis got 1 week last night whereas Lynch got 5 weeks. Both for a high hit to the stuff where the player that was struck was fine to keep playing. Sure Lynch’s looked worse and had more of a wind up but geez the absolute chasm in suspensions is ridiculous.

Different is Curtis gave the bloke a love tap.

Lynch took a proper swing.

Don't see why people can't understand the 'potential to cause harm' associated with that.

And I'm no fan of the MRO/WankFL these days. The two are just not comparable.

Potential to cause injury such as a broken jaw?

Spin it however you like but they made an example out of Lynch and one which they didn’t make beforehand and haven’t followed up on since.

Curtis' love tap wouldn't break a violet crumble.

Lynch, if he had connected, would have probably done some genuine harm.

So again, 'spin it however you like' but if you can't tell the difference you'll just be left feeling annoyed about it.

I know if I had a choice of wearing one of those two punches I'd be picking Curtis.

Yep, wouldn't have dented a sponge cake the Curtis one
I agree with everything you've said Andyy

But lynch did connect as did Curtis and the result was the same. The player got up and played the rest of the game. I’m not trying to say both should have received the same but there’s a 4 week difference in suspension.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but I’m guessing if you swapped the players involved in each incident the gap btw suspensions would be a couple of weeks less.

No. Lynch glanced off at worst, didn't connect properly.

Happy to agree that the differential is too much though.

I'd have been happy if Lynch got 4 and Curtis got 2.

Before this year, Lynch probably gets a week maximum
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”
