Still lairising and too much dumb footy. Lucky the Blues are missing shots. Thank our backline. Our forward entries have been poor allowing the Blues to rebound.

Floss off with a knee injury. How bad?

We take the 4 points & move on!  A few late goals blew the margin out a bit but we were far too good when it mattered.
It was only a second half cameo as a sub player, but Jack Ross played some great footy when he came on.  Good work Jack!      :clapping

Looked ok, hobbled off on his own.

Riewoldt's set shot kicking tonight was mint. Reminded me of 2010-2012.

Bet the blues fans will be all like 'we pushed them all game but the kids got tired, we have the talent, just need to get another preseason into the boys' etc...

As JPT said we take the 4 pts and move on.

Played ordinarily tonight. Too much like millionaires at times which resulted in dumb turnovers but we stepped it up when we needed to in the last.

Biggest issue was our forward entries were off. Carlton were able to under pressure easily clear out of our F50 where they got most of their goals from tonight.

Thank goodness Dusty plays for us. 3 Brownlow votes to start the season.

You never quite know what's going to turn up on round 1. Luckily we did. Is Astbury stuffed or what for next week? Who saw it?

The elbow from Astbury actually missed, light contact was made with the back of his arm.
I gotta say the Carlton nuffie is in more danger of being done for staging thanks to his big dive!     ::)

Have to disagree about Ashburton, was down in front of us and it looked bad live and worse when replayed.

Reckon he might get a week. Depends on how it is grade intentional or careless

They really should introduce stupid as grading because that clearly was  :facepalm

What I’ve learned over the past 4 seasons is it really doesn’t matter how we’re playing early on as long as we are banking 4 points. Pick up form as the season progresses and finish top 4 and we’ll be primed for another shot at the premiership.

Jack Ross...what are a star!!!!

You must be grade A moron if you are a fan....

 ::)

I’m guessing you posted this after his horrible kick inside 50? Hope you keep the same energy for all the other players who did the same numerous times tonight. Only difference being they didn’t have to run on cold and try to get into the flow of the match straight away or you know only have 15 career games to their name......
