Good game but not good enough for me.

If it was your mate , you would have found it good enough

Mansell is a plodder , but if yesterday was the norm , it’s more than good enough

Nope.

I mean he's not good enough for me long term.

It was a good game by his standards but I know it won't ever be the norm. And so do you.

Campbell is far more consistent.

Campbell is far more consistent.

Yep consistently under performing against the good sides and consistently overrated by the fanboys. :shh

I think people forget Campbell is still only 20. I think  a lot of games he has not played to a consistent high level and some would say hes been poor in too many..
What i like about him him is his attributes especially for a wing role.
He has good skills, pace, doesnt panic and a very good motor unlike a lot he will put his head over the ball and he will lay and cop a tackle.

Nigels trouble well simply he is a battler as you say who has the occasional very good game which sucks people in.
CONSISTENT GOOD FOOTY has never been the norm.

Probably have to go back to the Eagles game to find his last very good game before this week. Then you probably have to go back to round two.

Atm there is no one else or if there is they are injured or a similar player talent and consistency wise.

The trouble with the Mansells in footy is they are by no means in the bottom 6 or 8 players so there is always someone to cut in front of them.
The trouble with that is you invariably end up with a whole pile of players who are not bottom dwellars but are nether going to take you anywhere as far as success goes. Its this sort of thing that kept us in the wilderness for so long.
We have a lot of work to do on our general forward stocks. We have plenty of talls to work with they will take time though.

We need list turn over to continue and if we stay near the bottom which is going to happen the next few years regardless  so be it.

At the end of this season we must look for a Mansell upgrade talent wise,
We also need to start targeting a few mature types given we have just two ND picks atm. That doent mean Mansell gets the Arse at seasons end but we are looking past him longer term.

Two nd picks and we need to find a way to turn over a bare minimum 6 or 8 again. That means trade into a few later nd picks maybe a f/a do a trade and we utilise the  rookie drafts.

Agree on Mansell. Seen enough.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”
