Tom Morris reports...

GWS forward Bobby Hill has emerged as the potential circuit-breaker to assist Rory Lobb’s move back to the Giants.

There is also a strong chance a third club will be involved in negotiations given GWS don’t have a pick between 13 and 53.

From nine.com: Pies 27 to Tigers for 28, 42 & 47 which makes more sense.  Pies will use one for Lipinski and the other 2 for Daicos.

Heavily in Collingwoods favour points wise. Must be a future 3rd round back to us otherwise we are just pick dumping

Pick 27 = 703 points

Pick 28+42+47 = 1388

What? We are giving away 685 points to move above the Pies 1 spot?

Heck no.

Unless it's 42 +47. Not 28

The Lobb deal now officially dead according to Perter Bell on trade radio this morning.
Seems to be a bit of bad blood brewing between Lobb's manager and Bell.

Rory Lobb’s manager Colin Young has fired back at Fremantle GM of Football Peter Bell’s assertion that a trade deal with GWS would be difficult to complete.

Hawthorn’s desperation to trade one of its stars for a high-end draft pick extends to Sam Mitchell ringing rival clubs himself in a bid to spark interest.

Mitchell has contacted clubs around the league, with the first-year senior coach trying to spark interest in the likes of Tom Mitchell, Jaeger O’Meara and Chad Wingard.

2:20PM - PICK SWAP COULD UNLOCK DAWSON DEAL

A future pick swap of Adelaide and Sydney’s first and second-round selections, along with the Demons’ future first, could unlock a trade for Jordan Dawson, reports SEN.

The proposed deal would see the Crows get Dawson and the Swans’ future first and second-round picks.

Sydney would get Melbourne’s future first rounder that Adelaide recently acquired as well as the Crows’ future first and second-round selections.

473 point surplus going Pies way then.

Seems like a lot when WB sold their 17 for about 585 surplus.

If 40 comes our way from NM I'd rather send that and keep 38 at least.

I can confirm Richmond will do a trade to Collingwood for Pick 27. 3 draft picks will go back to Collingwood. #AFLTrade

Adelaide is set to reject Sydney's demands for Melbourne's future 1st round pick, and a swap of future 1st, and 2nd rounders for Jordan Dawson.

It's also understood a deal shaped around pick 4 for Dawson and 12 also won't happen at this stage.
