If Pickett and Aartz dont play and we have another 2 come in  we win the game irrespective. These 2 suburban footballers at best.

Pickett was our best player u flog

If you think thats right then im an astronaut.

Cotch was the only guy in and under all night, and yes his disposal was bad but how many others turned it over or made terrible decisions when in space. Nankervis needs a kick in the arse, no point dropping 80 meters behind the ball when your man is all alone and in a dangerous spot inside 50.

Who's defending Castagna & Short? :shh

I dunno why we had repeat entries inside F50 in the last and time and time again Lynch chose not to lead up into space choosing to stand against two inside the goalsquare. He should be leading up and smashing defenders a pee poor game from him  :banghead

Houli was excellent the whole game.
Cotchin was our best in and under his contested game was good unfortunately we didn’t have others to help and he turned it over when the pressure was on.

Thought Baker was good as was Short (excellent) and Grimes. Lambert was very good all game.

Our mids didn’t do enough inside and got beat in contest and centre clearances. Ross looked good early but didn’t notice him in the second half. Bolton was better this week and looks better in the middle.
Besides his mistakes I though Nankervis was good all game

Aarts had a rubbish game was well beat especially first have by the first gamer.

Baptism but fire for the new guys.
I thought Mansell was a little overwhelmed in defence and poo himself a few times especially in the second quarter otherwise he was ok and got more confidence as the game progressed.
Martyn too wasn’t used to the  speed of the game a nice taste I guess.
But both players didn’t have the same impact as Ports first gamer mulletmoustache which had a great game for a first game player.

Umps were terrible. How many 50/50 decisions that we didn’t get but they got. A real terrible umpiring performance that were sucked in by the crowd.

They missed some easy shots in the second as we did in the third.
We need to get to work on our contested game.

Aarts can have a rest. Lynch needs a rocket.
The club that keeps giving.

1 clanger tonight. Balta 8, Cotchin, Nank 6 each, plenty of others with 3 and 4.

Pickett 18 possessions, 3 tackles, 3 I 50s - and he hurts blokes when he tackles. I'd keep him in.

Was at the game.  Our defence looks all at sea and the new rules are forcing players like Broad, Mansell, Short & Baker into one on one contests and they're not used to it.

We need a second ruckman no matter who it is as playing Balta or Astbury there is affecting the structure.

Dare I say it after 2 losses but the rules are definitely having an impact and unless we are prepared to change tact were in trouble.

And 55 fumbles and selling teammates into pressure with garbage handballs to teammates in a worse position.

Think the days of Short & Baker in the same back line could be numbered... :shh

Very easy to.blame the defence,  but our issue is up the ground forward line and midfield not winning enough ball , centre clearances pressure etc sooner or later any defence cracks.

It’s hard to play footy when your shorts are around your ankles and the Umps have their finger fair in your bung h*le.
I’d like to see Lynch takes his own finger out of his areas and present.  Done absolutely nothing  and giving us absolutely nothing. :banghead

Yeah he has been poor

But not sure what you are expecting when he is 1 out against 5. Not sure why they are kicking it to him in that situation to be honest

When we are running through the middle we want to see a leading target. I’m not talking about down the line kicks.
He’s not presenting enough from what I’m seeing. He needs to lead into space. He needs to run up the ground and present at half forward. Not enough IMO

Completely agree on Lynch. He is so slow that he can never get any separation.
