Graham not fit.
Ross not AFL standard

Not enough midfielders.

We aren’t fast any more poor old Cotchin can only play 60% game time now.

I didn’t see them but by the look of our vfl today we have some issues with our newbies too.

What happebned in the reserves

Prestia is a massive loss. Clearance numbers turned after he went off. The 3rd quarter lead was built more through controlling the ball and playing tempo footy. Cotch can't play midfield full time anymore, Graham was underdone and when you've got Aarts as a mid then you know you're in trouble. Ross was solid in the 3rd qtr but his skills cracked under pressure in the last. Can't play mids with footskill deficiencies.

Dimma needs to let go of the players not performing to cute in selections.

Poor effort in the box tonight. But i will say the rules have ruined this once great game. So hard to watch- like last year, not sure I'll be watching much until things change in the executive team for the AFL. Gil is pathetic!!

Not an umpire basher, usually hate it when blokes on here carry on. But this quarter has been poorly umpired. 50m penalties were there but some seriously bad calls

Well whilst it appears the reign is well and truely over ( if it wasn’t last year ) don’t write off the club to turn things around this year. I believe we can still finish top 4. Unfortunately as made evident tonight, we rely heavily on a healthy list at the best of times.

A couple of injuries and we are pretty screwed.
I’m excited by the development of the next gen tigers and that’s what I’ll be focusing on this year as a supporter. Finals is a plus and if we turn things around I’ll be stoked.

One striking thing I noticed tonight was lack of hunger for the contest from too many players.
Players backing off waiting for someone else to get the hard ball whilst Carlton just went and got it.

To cute he was for me in selections Graham underdone,Ross no skills ,why a we trying to fit Aarts in the 22 , Hugo and Dow better selections.

Final Score

Richmond     4.5     4.7    10.9     11.10-76
Carlton         1.3    5.9      7.12    14.17-101

Goals: Bolton 3, Balta 2, Lynch 2, Aarts, Baker, Martin, Riewoldt.

20 pts up in the last and we caved coughing up 7.4 to 0.1. A repeat of the Collingwood game last year. Soft!

This is the point, the rules have ruined the game. Number 5 for them falls flat on his guts all the time in a tackle, momentum takes the tackler with him, and it's a push in the back? Please
And what is with all the other pathetic rules in place? The 50 meter penalty rubbish rules...I'm done :shh
