He’s a better defender imo. Would be a good grimes replacement after next season.

Pmac and Lammy get it
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Agree. Fairly average player for mine.

Not terrible, but wouldn’t pay much.

Probably would get the same type of money Riewoldt got at his peak, but is not even a quarter of the player Jack is. That's FA though I guess.

Port Adelaide forward Mitch Georgiades will discuss whether there is a role for him in the Power’s packed forward line before he makes a decision on a lucrative new contract.

Georgiades has ample Victorian interest and would like to stay at the Power.

But he is in a unique position because he is a second forward, who cannot play ruck, given he is only 192cm

Georgiades will likely secure a contract of over $600,000 whether he leaves or stays.

Clear baiting in the posts I have removed

Suggest people stick to the topic and keep the cheap shots at others off the forum  >:(

Not sure how appealing we are to upcoming free agents atm but given we badly need a key forward, we should be all over Nick Larkey. Think he’s a RFA at the end of next season and we have plentyyyy of money coming off the books at the end of this and next year and then looking even further, lynches deal is up the season after that.

Hopefully we'll get something decent for Cumberland when he asks to be traded at season's end.... :shh

Or we just keep poaching quality players from our two development teams.  :shh

I’ve been a big supporter of Riccardi to Richmond for a couple of seasons now.

If that doesn’t work then we could give Will Day a couple of years with his old mate Lynch until we find another young forward to take his place ie. Ben King.

It’s not hard to lure these blokes unfortunately for them they play for a soulless non entity and would bust a nut to play for a club with a long history (non cheating) with the best song, the best culture, the best colours and the best mascot.  :gotigers Our club sells itself.

Makes Blair’s job one of the easiest jobs in the world.
I would be shocked if his team hasn’t already done deals for the next two seasons

The club that keeps giving.

Yeah let’s poach everyone and  up like the blues(pies)  having to eventually salary dump those players anyway
.
I’m not against HH but what another 5-7 year contract?  :shh
He is 28 next year and we aren’t contending.

I think our recruiting  has been terrible and they are to blame as much as anyone. Amazing they couldn’t find one half forward they are willing to play to help jack. No ash Johnson anywhere in the country, ffs even mason cox is doing good things.

Yep, he would be a dead set waste of money and probably slow down the rebuild if anything.
