How long has he been 6 to 11 weeks now lol ? Wasn't he supposed to see the doctor this week so he can hit the track no update at all.Lynch wasn't well all p5reseason and rd 1 you could see it with his foot issue and rushed back let's not blanket the incompetence of this department.

He saw the surgeon last week. Surgeon was to decide when he could start running etc based on how the bone was healing.

His rehab program from the surgery has solely been and is determined by the surgeon and medical team. S&C would be doing what those experts tell them

But....

if people were paying attention Tuesday one of the new services said he back in a moon boot  so maybe it's been pushed out again. 2nd player sponsor Gold night was on last night so I am waiting to hear from my "spies" for any updates  :snidegrin

As I said I have no problem people dishing out whacks to S&C for things they are responsible for but the Lynch broken foot is not one of them. Can just imagine the outcry if he came back to early and broke it again  ::)

:yep Dont mention training without the footys or you will get eaten alive.

Someone a while back mentioned Burge was doing the training without footys' in "December" . Funny thing with that is Burg was at the hawks, so it appears he was at 2 places at the same time :shh :shh

Nice try; but you seem to have misread things.

The NO footys in December was Burge back in 2021 going into season 2022.

So to make it easier for folks....

Below are 3 links to this site's training thread

The 1st one is from 21 November 2022 - and there are plenty of pics of training and the players using footys; shocking I know but they are in the pics (page 325 of the thread)

http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum/index.php?topic=2565.msg736275#msg736275

2nd one 24Nov 2022 and look more footys

http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum/index.php?topic=2565.msg736313#msg736313

And the final one from 2nd week of pre-season (page 326 and Dec 2022) and shock horror more footys

http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum/index.php?topic=2565.msg736313#msg736313

Hopefully clears up this "no footys" December fallacy

well is that even true, as i just checked and saw footy drills in December 2021.

Perhaps it was drills for most of December but not all :shh

Put him on the LTI list, tap Tarrant on the shoulder and go to the MSD with 3 picks. :shh

EDIT: Just read about Smith - make that 4 picks. :shh :shh

I will repeat the Lynch injury, that is badly broken bone in his foot was not caused by anything the S&C did. It was caused by a Bulldogs player. It happened in the 1st fre minutes of that game. It required surgery. Everything post surgery has been dictated by the surgeon and our medical team. S&C rightly follow those instructions

To be back in a moon boot means the repaired bone is not healing the way they had hoped.

Will also repeat again whack the S&C team for the things they should be held accountable for = soft tissue injuries but to whack them for Lynch being back in a moonboot is one helluva stretch

Mate Lynch wasn't right preseason with his foot injury and was rushed back wouldn't surprise me the injury is related.

I have had 3 people tell me the same thing about his broken foot, how it happened and that it was not related to the injury/surgery he had in the pre-season. 3 people I might add that I trust and believe

People will believe what they want, I get that but I have only posted what I've been told

I'll leave it at that

ANd at the same time keep to myself the discussion I had with my physio about soleus calf injuries

Lynch interviewed on 7news:

* Sent for a check-up today seven weeks post foot fracture.

* Hopefully in a couple weeks he starts running.

* Just got out of the moonboot so he's got a fair way to go and it will be a while before he's back playing.
