We have to be beating Don's Port and Giants and even Freo with the form they are showing. Injuries aren't a good enough excuse with only Nank and Lynch main outs.

TBF Lynch is the biggest out you could have in our team.

Kane Cornes posed the following question: “Is it season over for the Tigers if they lose? Or can they recover from this?

“I think it is.”

King replied: “It probably is and they’re outsiders.”

Cornes added: “If you look at Richmond, their draw is pretty soft after this.

“They’ve got some really winnable games, but if you go two wins after nine games you’re not going to make the finals from there.

“So it’s all on the line.”

King concluded: “This is the night they need (under) the bright lights.”

The Tigers get the Cats at a good time.

Captain Patrick Dangerfield is out injured and Brad Close has been suspended, adding to the already absent group consisting of Jack Bowes, Sam De Koning, Cam Guthrie, Jack Henry, Sam Menegola, Gary Rohan, Rhys Stanley and Tyson Stengle.

Are they that up and running.

Sure they belted Swans at their home ground which they never lose at anyway against no defence. Granted same defence we couldn't beat but gather round form is an unknown for mine.

They belted Eagles they belted Hawks who are bottom 2. They haven't beated anyone else, apart from last week. I'm not sold on Cars at all.
Glad to be proven wrong. You were right, TigerLand  :thumbsup.

The season has a pulse again. Now we need to back up tonight in Dreamtime next week. If there's one criticism, tonight is an indictment on how poorly we've performed in most games this year.

There is a pulse….

Winnable games coming up.

Yeah we’re not that good but we are transitioning and still in the hunt.

Enjoy the ride.

Cats game makes up for the suns loss.

Can see us beating Dons, Port, Giants, Freo and maybe not beating Saints but possibly going into the bye at about 7-1-6 which is better than I felt 3-4 weeks ago.

Having a somewhat even ledger going into the bye would be an absolute dream. A part of me thinks the geelong game is a bit of an aberration like when we beat Sydney in 2016 but I hope the boys can use the geelong game as a launchpad for the rest of the season

It was something of an aberration last night, not every opponent is going to be struck down with multiple injuries to important players.  But, it was wonderful to see the way we went about it!  Our fast ball movement & intensity was just overwhelming, the swarm was back & it was 2020 all over again!  We looked sharp & decisive, even our skill level went up as we gained confidence.  It was a real shot in the arm to play so well, hopefully we can keep it up from here on.
Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!  Loud, proud & dangerous!

Mick McGuane predicts how the ladder will look after the bye rounds

The Blues and Tigers are two teams in flux and the bye rounds look to inflict more pain on both sides. See Mick McGuane’s take on every team and how he has the ladder sitting after the byes.

15. RICHMOND

Round 12 – v GWS Giants, Giants Stadium L

Round 13 – v Fremantle, Optus Stadium L

Round 14 – v St Kilda, MCG L

Round 15 – Bye

It’s fair to say the way the Tigers are tracking, they will lose all three unless their injured spearhead Tom Lynch makes a remarkable return. The biggest issue for Richmond is that they can’t score at the moment. They are in the bottom six in the competition for points scored, bottom six for points scored from a turnover and bottom six for scores per inside-50. That’s not a profile to make you rapidly rise up the ladder.

Will we ever win another game again?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

losing all those games will ensure mcqualter should be shown the door for a complete new fresh start under a new coach,

If a caretaker can’t enjoy some short term success then he is pretty crap at his job,

Yes  ;D.

And we're now above Carlton on the ladder  :lol.

Only a game and a half outside the top 8 too  :o  :outtahere

The three teams on 28 are all very capable of a spectacular collapse

If we beat Freo and Stk , finals aren’t dead

6-1-7 at the bye

We have the three basket case sides in the second half of the year

If we can go 3-0 there, we need to go 4-2 in the other 6 games, which is achievable

Huge game this week
