Be interesting to see how we go apparently the Germans haven't got there best line up in so we are in with a chance.

No worries pal. :lol

I think friendlies are a chance to experiment with game tactics and players and therefore I give the Aussies a glimmer of hope tonight also. On the flip side lets not forget a second string German line up would still trouble alot of nations best sides let alone one that's missing its best player in Tim Cahill IMHO.

Didn't end up getting up to watch it.
Seen the highlights on the news just before. What a win. coming back from 1-0 at half time. Sounds like we didn't play that well in the first half either so to bounce back and get a win is great.

We were bombing the long ball forward too much again in the first half and were gifting the Germans the ball. In second half we maintained possession more. Nice through ball split the German defence for our first goal before Harry was brought down in the box to nail the win  :thumbsup.

great job by the Socceroos in the second half. it doesn't erase Durban from the memory, but at least it restores a little bit of pride.
Push up!

Friendlies nowadays are experiments for coaches to play for the most part players who are on the fringes.

Last nights game was more important to the Socceroos than it was for Germany as 9 players in the German first

11 were different from the game in Durban last year.

yeah but ze germans had only lost like 2 of their last 30 games including friendlies despite "experimenting" - and it was on their home soil

good win  :thumbsup

Nice to win but when ze Germans are in the semis of the World Cup again in 2014 and the Ossies aren't I don't think Wednesday mornings game in Germany will be in the forefront of our minds or ze Germans minds. :thumbsup
