The positive was seeing the continual improvement of Mooy, what a gun. Gersbach deserves a start has gone past smith. Leckie looks a lot better when he doesn't have to worry about defence first. Rogic had his moments tonight, has a lot of skill, but needs to get better, if he learns to pick the right moment for release vs when to run straight at the defence he'll be lethal. Milligan is class, after that the cupboard is pretty bare

Apparently Leckie has been getting finishing training at Hertha. Definitely looking better and is what has been really letting him down. Gersbach is going to be a gun. Really liked him since he was killing it for Sydney FC at only 18. Jedinak is getting on but if Ange gets out of this 3 man defence fascination then I think we would be a lot more solid defensively being able to field both he and Milligan as holding mids. We currently get murdered on counters regardless of the opposition. With the current set up guys like Mooy are playing too high when as a 10 he should be much deeper and it's pointless cycling the ball around the middle like we do when the opposition can just collapse their defence and mids in front of their goal.
