Gotta agree with claw for once - while there may have been mitigating circumstances re:Short it was a  typical gutless display you get from him whenever the oppo turns up the heat - invariably one of the first to wilt &  go missing...also hilarious to see his biggest cheerleaders here giving it to Cumberland for ducking his head ...the same who'll swear up & down that Short doesn't do shyte like that nearly every game...... :shh

EDIT: LMAO just saw his biggest fanboy apologist gave the softy 3 votes....and it's same clown crying the loudest over Cumberland  being soft..... :biglaugh

If I recall , Mini did say when he took over there would be minimal changes this season as you can’t change on the run(I’m paraphrasing somewhat here)

Its a running joke but I'm still amazed at how often the Dogs get away with blatant throws ...
It wouldn't change the outcome, but those slick rapid fire 'hand balls', actually too often weren't even that.  The two handed shovel from ground level up into a team mates hands is a throw.  The over the head hand ball is a throw.  The reflex sideways hand ball is a flick pass & also a throw.

Did any of these throws get called last night?  I can't even think of one case ...   :help

They have a reputation & its a bad one, but they thoroughly deserve it ...
Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!  Loud, proud & dangerous!

Umpires are either completely useless or willfully ignorant -probably both-  you don't even need to look at their hands you  can tell by the speed & flight of the ball they're throws a mile away...it's more obvious on tv but you can even see it sitting in stands....it's as blatant as stuff....and they've been getting away for it for at least 7 seasons in which time they've won a flag & made another granny on the back of it...it's a complete farce... :thumbsdown

Very nice cheapshot there with a blatant attack on another poster but I'll let it slide

And it would appear you have either selected reading skills or you only pick up on the bits that suit you narrative

In your cheapshot you conveniently forget to mention I clearly stated that Cumbersland wasn't alone in refusing to put his body on the line, pulled out of contests and refused to attack contest.

My votes are based on what I saw at the game. Short along with Prestia, Balta and Taranto were just OK the rest were pitiful on a night were the entire Club should be embarrassed by what they dished up.

But whatever... just take a cheapshot and ridicule because I dare to have an opinion different to yours and others  ::)

lmao - your trademark Jayden Short Beer Goggles sure got a work out last night.  :shh

The bloke pretty much gave up once we were 4 goals down then shat himself all night.  :shh :shh

Cumberland on the other hand by no means had a great game and did some poor things but he was also our most dangerous forward all night despite Jack's goals when it no longer mattered. He was also one of the few still cracking in and trying to win the ball back and make things happen right until the end, even if it did backfire on him on the night. :shh :shh :shh

For me the club has been diluted with this finals crap never was going to happen our season was gone with the poor start and only of late we started playing for the future been forced , but dropping Banks was stupid. Will see who's going to take the rapt for this loss.

Jack is useless now and never kicks goals when they are needed. Cumberland, although he looks like he tries is just an average vfl player at best. No one played well yesterday, no one. Not even Balta. Yes he took some intercept marks, rebounded , bla bla bla, but he also didn't stop his opponent from kicking goals. Our defence was getting belted, but no one in defence won last night. No one in our midfield won, and no one in attack won. It was an all-round failure by everyone

Watched Cheltenham vs Springvale today, better standard umpiring than AFL, great vibe/food/beer, compared to last Sunday at the G.

Thoroughly enjoyable day
