Doggies and Port fans haven’t got much to be excited about
Houston and Sniff will get them back in the first round
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do

Richmond will ask for pick 13, but then will also ask on the conditions of acquiring Pick 3 from the Eagles.

Richmond want to pair Oakleigh teammates Finn O’Sullivan and Jagga Smith together.

Fearless draft predictions:

- We'll take at least two players that no-one was expecting us to. :shh

- There will be some almighty melts across all Richmond boards regardless of who we take (yes I include myself as a potential melter) :shh :shh

- Another club will pick Davidson if he goes in the main draft(see previous prediction but not including me) but he'll be our first pick should he last until the rookie draft. :shh :shh :shh

Can always take him with one of our several 3rd rounders tbh if we rate him that much

I also don't see us using those 3rd rounders at all.

We should end up with 5-6 picks in the top 20.

Maybe take a punt with a few more around 22-32.

But bringing in 8 draftees is enormous.

Former West Coast forward reportedly on the radar of AFL clubs

Mitch Keating

AFL clubs are said to have some attention placed toward former West Coast forward Isiah Winder this off-season, with the ex-Eagle earning a late invite to next week's state combine.

Winder spent three years on West Coast's list after being drafted out of Peel Thunder in 2020, with the small forward featuring in seven AFL games and 27 WAFL games for the Eagles during his time at Lathlain Park.

The 22-year-old was delisted at the cessation of his second season with the Eagles before being re-listed via the Rookie Draft that same off-season. He was delisted at the end of last year after a year spent mostly on the sidelines.

Winder was required to "regain the trust and confidence of players and staff" after being charged with assault for an incident in late 2022, with the young Eagle avoiding a criminal conviction after appearing in the Geelong Magistrates Court.

Following his West Coast departure, Winder ventured back to the WAFL with South Fremantle and played 18 games for the Bulldogs in 2024, averaging 25.4 disposals, 4.0 tackles and 4.8 marks per game while tallying 16 goals for the season.

Winder nominated for this year's AFL Mid-Season Draft in May but was not selected, despite interest from Richmond.

Richmond had multiple discussions with hybrid midfielders, Cooper Hynes and Sam Lalor.

When discussing what they believe would be their role in an afl system day one, they both believe they can start off in the middle.

They also both model their games around Dusty.

And Cooper is a Tigers supporter himself, while Lalor models his game off of Dusty, fends and all.

"Sam (Lalor) reminds me so much of Dustin Martin as a kid." 👀

ps. Speaking of draftees and who they support, Harvey Langford was on the news saying he's a Tiger fan too.
