Federer has looked a little vulnerable this tournament, he's not as solid as he was last year.

Having said that Hewitt always brings the best out of him and I expect a comfortable 3 set drubbing for Hewitt.

Your crystal ball is working a good as ever John. Hope you're wrong about the Tiges today though lol.

Poor Lleyton. Just totally outclassed by a freak who can still easily win a set despite only getting 37% of his first  serves in  :o.

It was something like 104 points to 92, but it felt like I witnessed a raping.

Thank god that I'm not that clairvoyant, Go tiges. lol

Gotta say I love the tennis. Go every year - love it

But............

Is it just me or are some of the men's matches this year really boring? The blokes themselves seem bored

I was watching Nalbandian (sp?) last night and his play was just boooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring. The crowd seemed really bored

The night before - Mark Flip - seemed bored, Hewiit seemed at times bored - are they all bored ??? :nopity

and btw....

My selections

Womens Winner - Henin-Hardene (best back hand in tennis) :clapping

Mens Winner - Roger what his name ;D - no Safin this year mean it's Roger's  :thumbsup

Tennis IS boring, and those people who go there and act like there at the cricket are just plain weird!

You should all join up as honorary members of the Hellas Fan Club and be part of the Marco Baghdatis cheer squad. Hellenism is good for you :cheers

The Poo after all these years still hasn't figured out there's more to tennis than a big serve and stupidly tries to hit the stuffing out of the ball with every hit. Frustrating sportsmen to watch.

Maybe if he concentrated more on his game than his off-court antics, he would be a better player.

He didn't have his usual spring last night either. It might have been due to his ankle injury but sheesh Hewitt played dumb. Chela could hardly move towards the end yet Hewitt kept hitting the ball straight back to Chela all the time so Chela didn't have to move  ???.

Stosur looked promising tonight. Scoreline a bit deceiving though 6-1, 7-6 loss. Top 10 by end of 2006 hopefully!

I'm hoping Sam Stosur does keep rising through the rankings, it's pretty sad when about the only thing of interest this past year in Australian tennis has been Alexis Barbara.

I didn't see the match myself but all reports are she fought back very well after being overawed in the first set - that's promising
