There's still two more list lodgements to go (Nov 16th and 30th) so we'll eventually find out by then.

Was this a hopeful prediction or do you actually see talent there.

Speaking of delisting draftees after just one year, Freo have delisted two of them - Collard (31) and Mourish (77). Caleb Mourish was that kid from rural WA who was rumoured last year we were trying to hide away.

Depending on who is available at our draft selections will more than likely seal Peterson's fate.

I hope that he gets another chance, because he is exciting.

The new addition of the player welfare/support officer will be something that Carl could really benefit from.

Steven Wright mentioned it the morning that he has short listed and wants the person to be started by the time the players are back.

Freo want to rookie list one of them (their salary them counts outside the salary cap).

Some phantom drafts had us picking up Mourish at number 8  ::)

Let's all point and laugh at Freo!  :lol

Another super draft, they traded away picks for Tarrant, two players have already been delisted. We might be bad at drafting, but we're not 'Freo' bad.

Sounds as though Carl might be close to getting booted...

Quote from: buddha on PRE
Carl's attitude has been far from that required.

He has a major injury to his arm from being pushed through a window at a nightclub just after the season finished. Whether he is able to play footy again remains to be seen.

He was demoted to the rookie list last week after failing to turn up to the first training session on Thursday and is in serious consideration to be delisted, depending on how he goes on the bushwacking camp starting today.

Even his indigenous mates are worried about him.

This info makes things a bit clearer. Nice to have the entire story if this is the entire story. I hope Carl hasn't done too much damage to himself and it would be nice if he could get his attitude right. He sound freakish but maybe he just doesn't have what it takes mentally to be successful. You wonder why some kids bother nominating for the draft if they don't have the drive to put the effort in once given the opportunity. Fingers crossed.

serious flaw in his story. you can't just demote a player to the rookie list

Someone else raised that point. I think the arm injury is real though.

Not sure how he's responding to treatment but things weren't looking too good at the time.

Yes the arm injury is.  It happened a while ago now and he attempted to repay Terry by going on a flight to Brisbane to speak to Rhan Hooper and a few other things.  I just hope he gets back on the right track because he seemed like a good bloke.  :-\
