He could still end up on our rookie list as Howat could. We have to pay Peterson's 2nd year anyway.

another wasted selection Pick 60 in 2006 national draft.
Pick 63 was Tyson Goldsack.
Pick 71 was Justin Westdoff
82 was Aaron edwards

Carl gone without playing a game ::)

If he was our number 13 pick i'd be upset, but you have to expect 1 or 2 casualties per draft.

It looks as though we may have 2-3 or even 4 players (Collins has big wraps but i'm yet to see him play) from last years draft. That's a good strike rate.
And you may not think I care for you

oh jack, you are a pee-er at the moment  ;)

you seem to revel at any bad news coming out of the tigers

On the one hand you say the team is full of light weight duds, on the other they turn over 10 players, yet still you sink the boots in.

What a disgruntled ex-employee you are. I know for a fact the rfc, are very happy to see the back of you, and yor disruptive ways. Just like peterson you have a bad attitude, and just like peterson, you were delisted.

You are sounding more and more like david clayton every day, and that, is not a compliment at all.

Your not a bad bloke, but you just werent good enough, let it go and move on

but what Jacko just said is correct Gordon. Goldsack Westoff and Edwards all went after Petersen.

I was referring to his comments after the word "bump", and his comments in general.

Well Ramps, its called the roulette wheel of the AFL draft system. I bet there were a few others picked before and after Peterson that have shown nothing.
I reckon out of every national draft there would probably be only 10-15 players at the most that actually go on and become good players for their respective clubs so out of 80+ pics, that means we have a ratio of one good player for every seven or eight picked.

oh here we go, "never gonna make it" so you are stating that Frank doesnt know what he is doing...mmm enlightning, strange that the swans were keen also on him.

its easy to stick the boot in after the fact, bit repetitive after the first 1000 times, im sure we will see lots of these over the coming months even if we do surprise next year.

true as it maybe but the tell me outside of foley who was a rookie, who has actually set the world on fire out of our mid range picks.

we dont spend enough in this area and it really shows. other teams are paying guys to travel around australia and the world to search for talent and we are paying guys to search no further than springvale for players.

all i ask is to give me one gun that we pick up after pick 60 that can actually play and is a champion. just one. i look at other teams and they are so far superior in this area its not funny

have any of you posters actually seen him play ?.
Answer NO ? YES ?
I actually seen him play in Perth, yes for Claremont.
Not up to AFL level but the tiges took a gamble and it backfired
End of my argument
