I reckon one of the big advantages that Kingy has is he came from suburban footy. Take no prisoners, tough and uncompromising local footy. Where the basic mean everything and the flair isn't as important

Well that's my take anyway

;D you saying WP that suburban football is superior & tuff than country footy  ;D

Had a great opportunity to watch him up close BJ.
I don't mean from the rafters. Up close and personal this evening.
he's a goer that lad. Gotta love him for that. Could teach every player on our list about having a dip.
But when push comes to shove, he's just not up to it. Got caughet under the flight of the ball. Didn't read the play. Got sluaughtered in one on ones.
Love the kid BJ. Want so badly for him to succeed, because he puts other players on our list (with far more ability) to shame.
Just doesn't have the tools.
Work ethic is without question. Just doesn't have the tools.
Hope I'm wrong.

clearly u guys havent got a clue. ur probabaly the same guys that want sugar to remain at the club and wallace to remain at the helm.
no idea. this guy has gutz and will be a 200 game player with us if he continues at this pace.
look at other clubs like pies and hawks. not the best talent but they have gutz like this kid has, never give up attitude.
in my eyes its these qualities that win u games, because for far too long anyone that plays richmond knows they have to slam the pressure early and the game is just about over. we r a bunch of weak pricks that never stick up for one another.
maybe if we did and fought to the end we might win a few extra games.

I'm sorry to inform you King will struggle. I've watched him a few times close up and he is going to battle. Yes he can kick fairly long and is as hard at it as anyone, but his size will hinder him. More so, he is prone to doing very stupid things (ie. Saints match last year) and lacks some basic football understanding/smarts. He doesn't read the game nor understand where to postion himself.

I agree with what Tugga says above. He was playing footy in the suburbs a couple years ago for a reason.

I think his best chance of making it is being the clubs #1 tagger - where his weakness will be hiden abit and his only focus will be shutting down his man - ie. Judd next week.

King on the wing or in the guts would help Foley/Tuck/Cogs in and under.

yeah well run him a tagger role then.
in a team where they are so many soft players, we need hard at it guys like kingy.
i know its early days but i like his toughness. he can be handy with his speed like u said tagging or throw him in the middle.

seriously how can he do worse than some of the pretenders we have in our side.

maybe your watching King the assistant coach up too close on the fenceline maybe you should backoff & get higher in the stands so you can see over the fence & watch the game :lol  :rollin
you got no idea what your watching Kingy is one of our most consistant players  :rollin :rollin

in a side thast was last he was one who could hold his head up high dont worry about that.
guys like raines in my eyes dont compare to the gutz and courage this guy has.

most other players are too concerned about where they are going to buy their next wax from, but not this little man.
we gave him a life to play senior footy and he repaid us last year.

weather he goes on is a different story. mo money is on him to continue on the same way he has been

It;s poetic justice that a man like young Jake can totally
expose the rats that have managed to rust at the hinge
of the club thru one thing - HEART !

Think Sugar is past his use by date - But who have we got to replace him on the field atm. Hopefully next year
Like you have said and maybe Subconsciously or not covering ur arse "Not the best talent","if he continues at this pace" - Agree and Agree
And that is all I am observing.
Love, absolutely love his G&D which is something most of the side has lacked for too long.
Got him a long way last year and I hope it keeps up and he can do the same again this year and in future, just think his footy nous is not quite up to standard.
"No idea" Well unlike some of you internet geniuses 'nerd boys' who think what you say is gospel, I am open to critism and am well aware that I do not know everything about football.
Seeing 400 odd Tiger games live over the years tho gives me a little bit of substance to offer my opinion on this site without being told I have no idea by some spotty little nerd boy that thinks he knows everything - Jam that up ya clacker punk. Spoonhead
