“I’m actually weighing around about what I was last year,” Riewoldt said.

“Two years ago, I had a bit of a shift in body weight change. That was a focus of mine, and I know a lot of the other guys are going along that line as well.

“I think it’s due to the fact training has got a lot harder than what it was. The shift in AFL over the last decade has been a fairly large one, and our bodies have had to adapt to that.

“Long gone are the big key forwards. We’ve still got a couple in the game that really dominate, but long gone are the days of the stay-at-home key forward.

“It’s about team defence and team offence these days, and you’ve got to be able to run.”

With a reduction in rotations I reckon a stay-at-home key forward sounds nice. Can't have all these lightweights running up and down the wings all day. Need a Cloke/Hawkins/Walker style KPF in the square...

Keep him in the goal square so we can see him fly high and kick a ton this season. He's awesome  to watch and he's inspires so many around him.

Unfortunately Big Reece has been granted leave for "personal issues" and may not return...

That's fine

But the Club have not made any official comment one way or another so I just think until they do we should respect the situation for what it is ..... and respect the people involved

Will leave it at that

As is often the case you've missed the point again

I actually made a comment about this the other week when a thread was started about this very topic by Jack

this is what I posted

If our Club thinks it needs to say something it will.

I got whacked around the ears during "chopstick gate" with comments that I wasn't supprting one of our own because I called his actions stupid. Alot of folks suggested we should always support our own no matter what the circumstances....

Don't think this sort of innuendo is "supporting our own"

Just think it's important in this case to show some respect and support

Barrett wants Jack in the goalsquare:

Richmond

IF ........ we’re Hardwick

THEN .... we're sticking Riewoldt in the goalsquare and we're telling him this: you've got a licence to kick goals.
