The break is to the second metacarpal which required surgery. Lids had a plate inserted to stabilise the index finger in his right hand.

terry said they are not going to ask for a please explain from the AFL over the kicking in danger incident.

pee-weak effort IMO. Perfect chance for the club to make a statement and say that we are not going to cop poo from anyone. You mess with one tiger you mess with all of us.  :gotigers

There wouldnt have been any harm asking the AFL for an explanation

What would be the point ???

The match review panel didn't look at it.

Do you think the RFC asking for it to be looked at is going to spring AA into some sort delayed reaction?

The system is stuffed everyone knows it, everyone keeps saying so IMO there is no way the AFL would have done anything - heaven forbid they actually have to admit that something AA has implemented is not working ::)

If you are a league footballer and you are right to play, why wouldn't you ?

And to answer you likely comeback, it would be like not going back in the water after a shark attack or not driving again after a car accident.

If it's next week then you'd reckon straight back in after only 3 weeks out. They don't make the side's key players come back via the VFL after a standard 2-3 week hammy say.
