Nice goal by JON on the run from 50 but he has had alot of missing in action mates.
I would rather keep a 19 yo and give him another year than reward guys like P Bowden
Schulz  who have been in the system for at least 5 years and have shown SFA.

Geelong has some players at reserves level who would get games at Richmond easily.

Just goes to show what an injury free or minimal injuries to your squad can do.
A full strength team both at reserves and seniors level.

It was the lack of  hard running, 1%ers and basic footskills that killed us. It's unbelievable that for guys who train all the time can't hit a teammate 25m away  :help. With mistake after mistake we just couldn't generate any run or structure.

It's hard to single out poor individuals as most Burgers were. Only Moore and maybe Jacko came to play out of the RFC players.

As I have said before, both Schultz and Jarrod Oakley-Nichols wont make it.
We are basically wasting spots on the list""hoping "" these two will be regulars. cold facts, they wont and they are far from it. People talk about trading Schultz ::)  Who would want him.
As for JON, can he ever hit a target ? Even the commentators were laughing :lol

yep it was embarrassing watching players at that level making mistakes
its even a bigger joke when they are Richmond listed players
just goes to show our recruiters are not upto the standards as well

stuffin Richmond is so far below level on everything they spin us all poo  its a insult asking us for money to watch them

If the Eagles could get pick 29 in a strong draft for McDougall then you'll be surprised what some clubs desperate for a KPP will pay for one. I don't believe JON will make it either but our recruiters by taking him with a first round pick have put him in a situation where he's being mocked. Mind you JON missing targets didn't stand out today because his teammates were just as shocking. Our kick-ins and kicks outside defensive 50 were so woeful it was tragic. Grubber after grubber  :banghead.

Mate, he should never had been in the draft in the first place, poor kick and bad decision making.

Agree about that (rookie at best) but all I'm saying is JON didn't draft himself.

Geelong were just too big, too strong, too experienced and too good today.
What a year from Coburg though.  :)
Wooden spoon favourites that made it to the GF. Well done on a fantastic year that was way, way above expectations.  :thumbsup

Agree, Rookie who would have lasted one year.
We have delisted better players than him in the past.

Had we not drafted him he would have still been drafted , possibly in the first round...

As disappointing as he has been he is still very young and had plenty of injury problems..
Still haven't completely given up hope..
