can understand daniels frustration at the lack of success he has seen at tigerland in his years, thats why i cherish every grand final that i have had fortune to attend or watch..stick with it Dan its all cyclic our turn will come around again. :thumbsup

i've often wondered how daniels generation must feel about the tiges and i too can commiserate with them.

the fraustration shows in their posting i suppose.

To all you under 28 year old (and under) tigers out there, we actually WERE the MOST FEARED club in the land for over a decade. Its true!

Dont get so down on this club.

It has a history of bouncing back in big ways after premiership spells and i have a feeling it wont be too long before you all get to experience that invincabilty (please make it another huge win against the Pies in the GF!!! although the Hawks would be good too)

Just remember to be a good winner when we do... actually stuff em all and party hard  :cheers
I'll second these comments.  Those of us lucky enough to be around for '67+ had to wait up to 24 years for that one so don't think this is the first time we have had a dry spell.  Its probably why the older ones amongst us are more comfortable preaching the patience line.  And as blx says, when we come good, we tend to come really good - our premierships thoughout our history seem to be all won in 'blocks'.

anyway getting back on topic l reckon Morton might have a blinder this weekend against the cats, he must be due
Mitch was on song at training today. I thought it was Lids first in the backwards cap and #13 on his back when he was sprinting through the middle and nailed a flat pass. I wasn't expecting Mitch to do that. He then went forward and got on the end of 4 passes leading out to about 65m from goal and set up goals each time.

Anyone wanna comment on McMahons game today.  does anyone want to continue to tell us that we made the right decision as a club, or are people happy to concede that may those who disagreed with his recruitment have been proven correct.

Ten lifesize posters of jordy should be put up around the club , just to continually remind everyone never to  trade early picks again for middle of the road crap like him..

Look this isnt a personal thing, the McMahon trade has been wrong for our club, my problem isnt with McMahon, its with the decision making of our football department that seems to downgrade picks, early picks and trade early or very decent picks.

He had 21 kicks today 16 of which were effective. (That’s 76%)

Trouble is the 5 not effective really hurt us as they were in the backline.

Certainly can find the ball (although 23 out of 27 possessions were uncontested)

I think we should persevere with him this year (how long was his contract) and try to teach him some decision making skills.

He is a joke, absolute disgrace.

His clangers were bad, but the main thing that hurts us is his unaccountability. It is very very very ordinary.

Yeah I know but think of the upside if we can turn him around.

We are stuck with him so we may as well try.

Unfortunately MCM is correct, We are stuck with it, the club needs to however stop making these types of draft trading decisions, unless its a top player RFC should not be downgrading or trading 1st or 2nd round picks.

time and time again this guy lets us down.
some of u have to realize that jack what 1000% correct about this dud.

some of you may bury me for this comment but i actually believe he directly cost us about 4 goals due to pathetic turnovers.

he is not even worth about 30 cents let alone 300k.

if wallace is serious about his position as coach then he should be dropped. He cannot get rewarded for a senior game for what he has dished out the last 3 weeks.

You can throw his stats down my throat but opposition teams dont care if he gets 30 touches a game cause they know one in every 5 touches they will get a goal from his pathetic disposal.
almost every clanger results in a goal and when they dont he just stans their trimming his porn star moustache while other players like harvey 2 weeks before dances around him.

over him goodbye he will not get better i have seen enough. he is soft and mentally weak and we don't need players like that in our team.

I've previously defended Jordan on this forum but I have to say he had a below average game today. He showed me today that he is not a wet weather player. Lost his feet many times and his handpassing was very ordinary. Tried to play a dry weather game and failed. I still believe that he is a good player in the right conditions (dry) but in future if there is rain forecast for game day, I'd make him an emergency.

Jordan McMahon may have been the Tigers' leading possession-winner (27), but he can expect some heat from Wallace this week because of his terrible disposal.

i dont think jordy will get much heat from wallce.

i find it damn ignorant and a disgrace how many supporters need to target a whipping boy, now that tivendale is gone it has to be jordy.

now lets sit back and be realistic here. i was at the game yesterdayand watched the replay when i got home. the game was played in soaking wet conditions and i say every single player make disposal mistakes. everyone.

NOW JORDY MAY HAVE MADE 5, BUT HE GOT THE BALL MORE THAN EVERYONE.!! WHAT PART OF THAT DO NOT SOME OF YOU PPL UNDERSTAND.

HE did not play a soft game and was also hard at it, on a day that most thought he would go missing, but he stood up.
jordy was not the reason we lost, sure he made mistakes but everyone did yesterday . he was our best defender and rebounder yesterday  full stop so i think serial jordy bashers should wake up.

we won 2 quarters yesterday, pretty much equalled 1(lost it by 1 point) and lost 1 quarter convingly. the result was much closer than it looked.  the 3rd quater their body size and experience and the umpiring stood out, but for 3 quarters we were up there

now for all u jordy bashers, lets take a look at things from a different angle and take the focus away from the bloke that wanted and got the ball most for us yesterday.

now foley has been fantastic for us, but in the 3rd quarter when we got smashed , he was no where, sure he was being tagged , but if he wants to be elite , he has to lift at these times. not having a dig at him but we lost the 3rd in the guts and he cant do it alone but elite players deal with tags

lets move on

tuck, he is the joke and should be the wipping boy, had a gr8 30 minutes as a tagger but then was useless, no impact or effect on a game where hid body should have been there to protect foley and blingers etc as the cats protect ablett. tuck is a joke and should be whipped not jordy

simmonds, slaughtered in the ruck by 2 no bodies and had no effect on the ground for us. should have done more and been more influenial ....whip him

white, one really good passge of play from him all day, the rest he was a joke, i have said it all along, he has pace , but he is not for this level, whip him

thursty, been great all yr, but yesterday was pansed by all and sundry, looked lost against the bigger bodies and looked intimidated, moore and mguane made mistakes too and are skinny also , but they never let that stop them

hyde..........in these conditions , tagging should have been easier, but he was a joke, whip him

jake king, was poor yesterday, made many mistakes again . and again tries to do too much, whip him

i could go on, the conditions were very bad, mistakes where there to be made, even geelong made heaps

so all u obessessive compulsive jordy bashers, get a grip, he was no where near our worst yesterday and even though he made some mistakes, he was still in our top 6 players
