My Google search must be different to everyone else's as I don't have a clue what anyone is talking about :nope. The first link that appears from these links in this thread says Darou is Japanese for something or other lol. In any case Benny Darrou is Morrocan and he has nothing to do with India  :wallywink.

Indian Tigers Supporter Group

"Sport brings people together, I have seen that all over the world. It's great that Richmond is connecting with the Indian community.
"I like the idea of the Indian Tigers supporter group - it will give Indians another team and another sport to follow.
"I have watched some games on television - it is fast and very physical. It would be great to see a game played in India one day." - Rahul Dravid.

Following the success of the Indian Tigers during the AFL International Cup and the Divali Festival, Richmond has launched the Indian Tigers Supporter Group.

For more information, or to join the Indian Tigers Supporter Group, fill in your details below and we will contact you shortly.

whoa, way to go i say, if we can get say 1% of their population as members, two words, LOOK OUT...and do it Hawthorn style as in 1 game membership tickets. Buy a seat to a lockout in mumbai and you guessed it, a restricted member, NO voting rights...sounds crazy but it just might work :shh

The way the league is at the moment if you are not trying to innovate and widen the scope for membership then you will get left behind. I reckon its a great idea by the club. It is no guarantee to work but it is certainly worth pursuing in my opinion.

Great exposure if nothing else.
Good to see them doing some litmus tests to gauge reaction over there first.

Jeep would be besides themselves at the moment. The indians got about 200 million people in their middle class. Thats where the money is. I expect Unilever with their Lynx brand to come on board shortly.
