I would like to see a month of solid games to establish himself and to set himself a bench mark for performance,

Why? You've already said he's not up to it and won't make it. Back yourself in mate  :thumbsup

I have always liked Rance and thought he could make it, he just needs to keep it going now, not much point having one very good game. Cameo's are no good in this team now, if you can play like that one week you should be able to at least put that effort in every week.

One game doesnt make a career.
Richmond Football Club has been littered with guys playing 5 good games in a year, then they get a 3year contract for $$$$$. Ben Holland ring a bell people.
I liked Rances courage on sat night.
he did play very well, not denying that at all.
need to go with it now.

I don't think he'll be a KP defender I see him mould into a tallish medium defender that is strong bodied who can assist rebound and carry the footy.

He's already shown to be a better disposal than McGuane.

Harry O, Corey Enright, Dale Morris type players should be what he's aiming for. He's not going to be a Merret, Garland, Jamieson type defender.
Go Tigers!

was dropped 3 times last year and the club even tried to play his as a forward at the start of 2010.
His form was poor.
To the kids credit, he had a great game the other night.
Watched the replay again last night, one of his problems is that he goes to ground too easy.

he's far from perfect but he's coming along for a 21yr old 30 gamer
shown he can play to a high standard at the level
will have his ups and downs - especially at Full Back
needs to develop his consistency like all young players but he's played more good games than poor ones this year so that's a step in the right direction
wont die wondering with this one

yep good game very good game. but one game doesnt make the concerns go away.
sorry people but i still worry abouyt him in the air  his decision making and propensity for the howler.
dont get me wrong im not having a shot at him its just that he will have to have a consitent yr or two with consistent  improvement in these areas for him to win me over.

Would agree, his games against Freo and Dogs were ordinary.
To the kids credit he played extremely well on sat night.
i also worry about his ability in the air and his skill in jumping to spoil. Was poor against Minson and Bradley.
I would like to see a month of solid games to establish himself and to set himself a bench mark for performance,

watch what you say jack, you will be having a shot at the kid and god knows none of our players deserve criticism of any kind.its amazing asking our players show consistency is perceived as having a go.

Would rather he play as a back pocket or back flanker.

Steve Milne turned him inside out in a game last year..
he cannot play on a smaller nippy type forward, he isnt quick
