Great news.

I was a bit worried. You never know these days. Matt MaGuire copped a week for a clash of heads FFS.

Here's the official MRP report:

Contact between Richmond’s Alex Rance and the Brisbane Lions’ Andrew Raines from the fourth quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. It was the view of the panel that both players were contesting the ball. No further action was taken.

did alright with jacko, tucker,
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Also for his hit on Raines  :clapping

Elected to bump and shoulder hit face. Raines was down for a while. :-X

Damn I loved that hit. Rance is a unit now.

Mark Robinson is now a Rance fan....

4. Alex Rance

Hands up who thought this bloke would never make it? Courage mixed with an inflated ability to make basic errors look like catastrophes meant Rance was a constant risk. His courage is now complemented by enthusiasm, a wiser footy brain and commitment for the contest as good as any tall in the game. Took Ryder and Hille and although Hille looked dangerous, Rance was better on the rebound.

yep good game very good game. but one game doesnt make the concerns go away.
sorry people but i still worry abouyt him in the air  his decision making and propensity for the howler.
dont get me wrong im not having a shot at him its just that he will have to have a consitent yr or two with consistent  improvement in these areas for him to win me over.

Whilst I may not be his biggest fan his game against Essendon was very good. His attitude and his courage can never be questioned. I hope he continues to play the way he did against Essendon for the rest of his career

Would agree, his games against Freo and Dogs were ordinary.
To the kids credit he played extremely well on sat night.
i also worry about his ability in the air and his skill in jumping to spoil. Was poor against Minson and Bradley.
I would like to see a month of solid games to establish himself and to set himself a bench mark for performance,
